Shed Hunting 2023 - Part 7 Fresh Drop in April

- In this video I find the match to an old 10 point set and 2 minutes later find a really nice 5 point fresh drop with alot of blood on the base. This April is turning out to be my best April ever for total amount of sheds found. Hopefully I can find a few more before it greens up.

Nice finds! I'm in Southern Wisconsin. I hit a lot of city spots tons of competition, and everyone shed these days. I have 3 this year. Good year for me, 5pt side and a matched 8pt set
I spend all of February on Public and start hitting my private spots in early March. I’ve had better luck shed hunting public areas that big and get hunted. Those city spots are really good, tons of nice deer, but tons of competition like you said.

In south east wisconsin there's still bucks carrying they shredded late this year and didn't winter up much
I had a nice one on cam first week of April. He holds his rack into April every year probably. I had pics of him last yr in early April too. Probably a 5+ yr old buck.
That shed hasn't been on the ground no longer than 24 hours in my opinion
Yeah probably pretty fresh. I know some bucks bleed more than others. I’ve found sheds that I know had dropped only a few days earlier that had very little blood. Who knows how fresh it really was definitely wasn’t more than a week though.
Mid April here and have multiple bucks still toting there horns youth turkey starts next week crazy how late there keeping em this year
