We live in Salida which is one hour east of gunnison went to college there and spent a lot of time in traders rendezvous great place but it can be overwhelming there is so much to see great to see you stop there
Good for my elderly dog. Slow at chewin em up anymore. And its way softer for her. Keep up the good work E.C. your the wind that keeps alot of us motivated and goin.

This is Awesome! The closest to something like that i've seen is Muley Crazy in Kanab, UT. If in the area, i'll be stopping there for sure, so cool!

I went elk hunting for the first time in my life last year in Gunnison, we went past that store and I really wanted to stop but we were on a time pinch. Very cool for showing the video. I need to stop next time! :)

My parents live right outside of town and always have to make a stop in when I visit. By far my favorite store!
Dang, That's an impressive store there. I had to laugh when you said that shellacked rack was your favorite. Can you imagine how many times the old timer sat in his den telling hunting tales about that buck and whatever else he had hanging. Probably go something like "back then those bucks were on about every ridge, we usually were hunting for elk but I decided I'd just kill me a muley, we were short on meat"
My dogs are small guys. 16lb and 25lbs and they prefer the older antlers. They are softer and they really enjoy them more.

Only thing about using chalks as dog chews is that they splinter and it’s basically like feeding your dog a chicken bone, always a chance is can cause problems down the road! Love the videos brother!

My son plays ice hockey in Gunnison at least once a winter. Can’t believe I’ve never stopped at that place. Definitely going to stop next time.

i live near traders! ive dug through those antler piles many times. particullary when i was making lamps. randy has always been very fair and helpful over the years. im in lake city, anout 45 minutes from gunnison. too bad i didnt know you were traveling through. i coulda put ya up in one of our lakeside rentals. stretch your legs and get some great fishing in!

How common is it for their to be issues with dogs chewing on older antlers I’ve got many chalks or closer to hard whites but have cracks and I just don’t want their ti be any issues

My dogs love soft white sheds, but unfortunately they don't last long . Worst part is the mini spears stick in my carpet then stab my feet 🥴.. stick with hards
