Excellent! Very helpful and easy to understand. Thank you!
Wow... Very slick production.
I discovered that on these springs its much easier to unscrews the bolts and disconnect them that way, they are not under much tension if any and at least on my washer they are curved pretty nasty and are hell to get out the old fashioned way, this might help someone, i have been able to put them back also that way, took a little effort but much easier than pulling and trying to get them in.
I have a Kenmore M# 110.29822800.
The washer vibrates like crazy when in spin cycle, and will walk across the cement floor if I let it....
I've changed the snubber pads, the suspension springs, and the counter balance springs.
None of those repairs fixed the problem.
It seems to me that the tri-base floats all over during the spins cycle. Is it supposed to snap into place? The pads are all flush, and I've put a level on the machine to make sure it is level. The motor seems fine, and there is no play in the agitator from side to side. (The whole tub can easily slide back and forth when it's reassembled however).
I'm thoroughly frustrated as to what to look at next. Ideas?
would this solve a loud spin cycle issue. We have checked all other issues that we could have had, including leveling, springs, and several other things to no avail.
This is most likely not your problem. Check out the repair help section of our website using your washer's model number. That will give you more suggestions for parts you can check: www.repairclinic.com/repairhelp
MODEL LSR6232JQ1 WASHER. STOP WHILE WASHING TUB WAS FULL WITH
CLOTHS AND WATER MACHINE WOULDNT SPIN OR DRAIN ONLY AGITATION WAS WORKING
2 transmission mounting bolts broke off inside. What can I do?
The old pads looked okay, so was it necessary to replace in this case?
is the outer plastic basket supposed to be able to move irrespective of the metal inner basket? if not, does that mean i need to replace the drive block? The machine wasn't having any trouble with the agitation cycle or draining, just the spin cycle.
I have the same problem, did you find the solution?
How would a person know if the suspension pads needs replacing?
great post, thanks for sharing. be very well. rob
Is there a substitute for that spanner wrench? Nobody has one of those on hand.

I used a hammer and screwdriver. It came off easily.
You make it look so easy but it's not. You don't take into consideration that removing the inner tub from an old washer is not easy. I can't remove the inner tub it is stuck on the shaft. I sprayed WD40 hoping it would break free but so far no luck. I might have to give up and reassemble the washer. I also made a mistake and bought a cheap spanner wrench. Had a difficult time removing the nut. The spanner wrench I purchased won't rest on the nut so I had to hold it up to prevent it from dropping down on to the tub. What do you suggest on how to break free the inner tub?
I just found your comment, and I had the same problem as you in trying to remove the inner tub or even the outer tub ( plastic tub) try using vegetable oil on both, 3 applications within a hour on the basket that takes the spanner wrench to get to the drive block that is stuck/ fused on, then wrap a towel around the transaxle/shaft and hit it sideways with a hammer in a circle a few times, and start pulling/yanking upwards ( replace that drive block) for the outer tub (plastic liner ) 3 applications and within 10 minutes it will be ready to go, tilt the liner towards right side and with your right hand go underneath the liner towards the middle and it will pop up! (If your washer is older 10 plus yrs. Replace the tub seal as well) I see that this comment was a year ago, but I thought that I should at least try to help someone in our situation!!! The other is that if you are going to replace the suspension pads, do both sets at the same time! I hope that everything worked out well for you, and your washer is working great!!!
Good grief
