Weakerthans vocalist was the original bass player of propagandhi. He sang on 2 or 3 songs but Chris hanna is and has always been the main vocalist of propagandhi. He has just evolved.

The name the weakerthans actually was an attempt to tell propagandhi fans that this new John k Sampson band was weaker than propagandhi. At the time that John k Sampson left chris hanna was purposely provoking skinheads that were coming to there shows and things were getting dangerous so John k Sampson left the band to get away from that. No offense to John k Sampson, but their bass player since then, Todd " the rod" kowalski is 10 times better for propagandhi. The path they've taken since he has joined has made them my favorite band of all time.

You're right. Propagandhi is not a punk band anymore. They have evolved to something else.
