      @@todayssportsgh Henry Blank is a Dortmund talent that has moved to RB Salzburg. Darko Gyabi is a Manchester City talent who now plays for Leeds United. He struggled to get some game time at the beginning of the season so they loaned him out to Plymouth Argyle. He got some decent playing minutes at Plymouth and at the end of March he returned to Leeds. He still struggles for game time at Leeds but looking at his highlights he has some potential to be a great player. Kofi Amoako is a young midfielder who came through the ranks of the Hannover Academy and later moved to Wolfsburg's Academy. He is young but they saw enough talent in him that he has been called up to the senior squad 4 times even though he is 18. Nikolas Nartey is a Danish born Ghanaian who currently plays for VFB Stuttgart however, he has yet to play a game for them since the Relegation Playoffs in 2023 against Hamburg. He damaged the cartilage in his knee during pre-season thus rendering unable to play this season. James Abankwah is an Irish Born Ghanaian who signed a contract with Udinese of Serie A. This season he is capped 19 times for Ireland's U15-U21 sides but is yet to make a senior appearance. He has Captained the Ireland U19 side 4 times in the UEFA EURO U19 Championship Qualifiers. Samson Baidoo, born in Austria, is of Ghanaian descent. He plays for RB Salzburg has been capped once for Austria but is still eligible for Ghana he plays consistently for RB Salzburg but unfortunately faced a Syndesmotic ligament tear that has sidelined him for a while now. Gabriel Misehouy is a dutch born Ghanain who is currently in the second team for Ajax Amsterdam the promising attacking midfielder who in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie has scored 7 goals and provided 3 assists he has been in the Ajax squad 3 time this season and may break into the first team in the coming seasons.

    We need to get serious and face facts. Those players not born in GH who opt to come play for Ghana are those who don't get selected to the country of their birth. Please let's focus on Ghanaians born in Ghana and develop those in GH.

    Please, can you look for this Asante Kotoko midfielder called Lamptey, who went for the Afcon but was not part of the 23 man squad? The player is too good

      He was part of the final 23 man squad but never got playing minutes. I know him very well. Very talented midfielder.

    We have to scout defenders too because after scoring they will get confused at the back, we need proper defenders like John Mensah

    Really can this Sports Jernalist start talking alot about our local boys who are hungry for foodball and stop always advertising foreign players and they came we don't see results, Ghana just hosted all African games and we saw great talents there, can sports Jernalist talk about them, so that our leaders will turn and look at them pls!

    • @todayssportsgh
      @todayssportsgh  Před měsícem

      I understand your concern bro. I was once an advocate for the local boys. But the big problem is, when the local boys are called for Black Stars, they leave the country the same year or even the following year. Over the years, we’ve always called for the inclusion of local players into the black stars but where are those players now? The cubs immediately sell them off to Libya or an unknown club outside immediately they wear the Black Stars shirt. They all want to travel so please understand me. All the players you saw at the All African games will leave the local league soon. Do you still always advocate for a different player every year.

      Yes if fine we can relie on them, when they're called for blackstar and they show seriousness, they're friends and watching them, their enemies are watching and they will like to proof to their friends and family and even their enemies and it give them more courage when they turn to see someone you know watching you.

    I think we have our local players in GPL why black star menegment don't won't to give our local players chance as always recruiting players from out side our black stars are senking😂

    • @todayssportsgh
      @todayssportsgh  Před měsícem

      Bro, I use to think the same but now I understand them. The local players always leave the country immediately they get Black Stars call up. Cast your mind back and check how many local players still playing in Ghana after getting Black Stars call up. They always leave bro.
