- That was a lot of fun. We recorded a live performance together in a recording studio in Las Vegas with no clicks. I don't speak much English but we all became friends through music, which I love. Thank you!

Yoyoka and Ellen are the perfect drums/bass duo, IMHO.
Thank you Yoyoka, that was awesome and fun. Can't wait to see you again and looking forward to more collaborations. See you soon sister ❤️
You both make a great rhythm section!
Great job, Ellen! So fun to watch. Keep rockin!
Hope you all get together again and do some Who like "Real Me." That would be epic as well.
@@THaughton Especially for Ellen.
What a rhythm section. That little bass player is a pocket rocket!!!
That was spine tingling. So good in so many ways, that little Bass girl played this with so much groove, the lead guitarist did a classic wandering Page style solo that had its own stamp on it and the girl on vocals was awesome. Yoyoka glued it all together. Can't fault this one i'm giving it a top score
Yoyoka is THE ambassador for the younger rock generation. She is giving great exposure to other young talented musicians who would not otherwise be recognized by others. That is pure class!
And doing a bang up job.
And presumably we have her parents to thank for this lovely turn of events-- thanks Yo-Yo Ma and Yo-Yo Dah!
Wow! That is simply wonderful…….so faithful to the original. Immediately I was reminded of a disc I received as part of They Might Be Giants ‘Hello’ record club. Would these musicians like to hear the hooks, leads, stops & starts played on Banjo, Tuba, etc.? I hope they are open to such things & kudos to YoYoMa’s excellent, inspired work on Playin For Change!
Did somebody say keep on rawkin’
DKK
They are NOT the Younger ROCK GENERATION... they are the rock generation and when they will finish their teens, they will NOT need to continue playing music, as by then they will have already achieved much more than any other past adult musician could ever have imagined.
No one in the great hall of fame has ever had what these two girls have already, and they never will...they can only be belittled and boring compared to these lil girls.
Thank you.
🌻🙏😎🌻
That little bass lady is epic. Of course we already know Yoyoka is. But baby bass chickita is just amazing!
I think that bass is bigger than her too. But she rocks it
Ellen the bass player has only been playing like 2 years. Recently did a bit with Stevie Vai
I agree!! I couldn’t take my eyes off her. So solid, impeccable rhythm, not a single flub, and even swings. Always driving. She’s remarkable.
so agree , and the smile on her face is just gold..im a drummer of 50 yrs.
Watching those young folks making real music and playing real instruments gives me hope ! Yoyoka travelling around the world, making music and making friends is just awesome!
Yes I think we can rest assured that music is going to be in good hands!!!
@@eddieb3404 in better hands because the joy displayed by these youngens is unsurpassed not even by rock bands in the 60s 70s!
@@vortex162 oh yes indeed!!! I witnessed this in Paramore!! Such evident joy is so hard to come by nowadays, and it's a shame!!
Yes it is glorious. If they can record more kids playing tunes then it can spread fast. In the old days if you didn't see a gig live then it was gone. Love the energywe see here. With various country participation
Four more kids who like Zeppelin is four more souls saved.
Amen
I had a good laugh at that ! but your right !
So cool to see Ellen hitching up with Yoyoka! What an incredible rhythm section!
And now two years later they have done many collaborations. I hope there will be many more.
We all love Yoyoka but I want to give a big shout to Ellen - how is it possible to get such a sweet tone in such a short space of time with such small hands - Blessings to her Father who's nurtured her in a way that's unimaginable to most of us! The band is great 👍😊
True! I watched her video of her dad working on music with her and it's amazing. He seems very stern but supportive. She never looks like she's not having a great time. What a great combo these kids have!
@@I_am_ARTBOT 👍😊
Do-wop! Do-wop! Do-wop! Do-wop!! Wow lots of snares to choose from..
Oooooh....
THOSE Do Wops 😄😄😄👀👍
Yoyoka’s kick drum triplet makes her version tastier than the original. She’s head and shoulders above the others in this video as well
I hope Mr. Plant is still following your blossoming career - I'm sure this would be bringing more smiles to his face!
So tight. They don't miss a trick. It wasn't so long ago that this would have not been possible.
I don't know what makes me happier - seeing Yoyoka growing musically or seeing new generations enjoying the songs of the best band ever 😊🥰
not the best band ever, saw them live & they were sloppy, magic in the studio tho. these kids sound better than zep.
@@bbb8997
You won the "idiot of the century" award 🤣🤣🤣
@@bbb8997 They became sloppy, but were not in the early years. They were amazing live at the beginning. I think drugs took their toll after a while.
@bbb8997 you need a reality check watch there early performances before 75 Jimmy Page was high on drugs after and it had a effect on there overall performance in the band. To be a lead guitarist you need to be at the top of your game which Jimmy Page was from 69 to 75
Ironically, this might be the most mature band I've seen her play with. No show-offs - just four people who want to make good music.
年齢も国籍も関係なく、音楽で繋がっている。素晴らしい。😊 楽しんでねー♪
Love the joy in the little bass player. Well done, all of you! Yoyoka, yoku yatta!
I've been wondering if Yoyoka had ever heard of Ellen and here they are in the studio jamming away on Zeppelin. They sound great.
What a damn drummer holy shit
Yea, he’s got Gonzo in his blood.
Led Zeppelin was and always will be timeless. Younger generations will be covering them for eternity.
LED ZEPPELIN THE G.O.A.T
I hope John Paul Jones sees this.... astounding
Jp has never been blind
I have to say my yoyoka is the most honest person on the internet I think.. OMG love her so much
YES! Seeing young people cover Led Zeppelin makes me very happy.
That vocalist is KILLER!
thank you so much!!
the guitarist as well 🤘
It's always been about the drums. Rock on !
Another fabulous Bonham groove Yoyoka ! Ellen was great too, hope you two work together again.🤘✌👌
Just found out that was the first time that Ellen and Yokoka met and the first time they played together. No practice just do it. And they nailed it.
Very cool. KIDS ROCK!
Yeah! From Russia with Love!!!!!!!
Blistering version of one of Zep's best songs. Yoyoka was on fire but what a bass player Ellen is. The future looks bright for the young generation playing the best music ever made. 🤘
yes the Ellen laugh at the end...Awesome job everyone
🤟🤟🤟
That singer is a absolutely doll. Perfection..wow
A lot of people forget there were two John’s that created the foundation of Led Zeppelin. Ellen shows how amazing John Paul Jones can play the bass. She’s enjoying every minute of it too.
The swagger of the bass player! Damn Ellen! I love how you just look like you’re having the best time ever. And Yoyoka has really gotten tight on those drums.
That little one on bass there has got some mad chops AND attitude in her playing. Totally copped on Jones’s feel here. Keep up the good work! This was freakin AWESOME!
That's Ellen. She has her own CZcams channel(EllenPlaysBass). She's already featured on a Victor Wooten album. Her dad is Hovak Alaverdyan, guitarist, producer, founder and principal songwriter of the band Octavision. Other members of Octavision are Jeff Scott Soto(vocals), Billy Sheehan and Victor Wooten.
@@SternLX come to think of it, I’ve seen clips of her before. She’s so good on bass at this young age! It’s remarkable to say the least.
Yoyoka killing those triplets
That was as good a Led Zeppelin cover of "The Ocean" as I have EVER heard! In particular I want to give high praise to Ellen (Bass player). I don't know how old she is, clearly the youngest member of the band and the bass is as long as she is TALL! No matter, she gives a masterful cover of John Paul Jones, probably the least-known member of the four, but possibly the most essential when you take into consideration his additional contributions on keyboards and as engineer. Ellen covers the bass part practically note-for-note (and I am intimately familiar with this bass part). And you bass players who complain about having small hands? Ellen is proof that hand size on a long-scale bass is irrelevant. All in all, a GREAT cover, y'all! 💖💖💖
look at that wee bassist. rock it kid!
HOLY CRAP.. that bonham Feel is INSANE
And she actually added to the Bonham version!
SH*T THIS IS ONE OF THE BEST LED ZEP COVERS IVE EVER HEARD!!! I’m 23 and it makes me SO HAPPY to see other youth enjoying and carrying on these classics!!!! I mean the girl on bass- she’s a baby and she’s totally rocking out to LED ZEPPELIN! The vocalist couldn’t have been more perfect and the guitarist is amazing!! And of course- the amazing Yoyoka!! This js great!!!!
オリジナルより曲のエッセンスが煮詰められ濃厚な味わい。なのにフレッシュという…ブラボーしかないです。
Younger people + older music = timeless
Damn Skippy!!
Rock and roll is safe and sound in the hands of these fantastic young musicians. Yoyoka and her friends around the world will see to that. What a great cover, keep on Rocking!!! 👍✌️😃
Watching from CLEVELAND Ohio, Amazing performance
Sandusky here!
Norwalk
Cleveland too!
Canton Ohio here. This a wonderful surprise. Especially since Band Maid will not be playing in Fly-over-Ohio for their US tour. I have to take my pleasures when I get them. I no longer despair about the state of rock music. Especially since the juggernaut of japanese musicians and young musicians like these amazing kids on the horizon.
Well not much anyone can say about that except the future looks bright 😎
When a drummer wants to perfect his timing he uses a metronome. When a metronome wants to perfect its timing it uses Yoyoka…
Sometimes I think she is not real maybe a futuristic drum machine disguised as a human her every move is so perfect .
@@mikelicatino9939 too human to be anything but. We're witnessing humanity mutating to a higher level!
@@chrisegbertky I _almost_ agree with you.😀 I think Yoyoka is what any human being could become when everything coalesces (almost) perfectly at an early enough age. If we could provide a million kids with the right coalescence of circumstances, (*see below) there'd likely be several drumming Yoyoka's and maybe several bassists, guitarists, keyboard players, music teachers, producers, ...
* perfect coalescence of circumstances _includes:_ great, loving, encouraging, supportive, patient, musical parents, live music woven into their daily lives, kind and generous musical family and friends, and, essential to the outcome, good opportunities. They'd need good 'genes' too. 🤔
Best Wishes. ☮️
@@gbulmer wouldn't that be fine!
😂😂😂👍👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏 Love it
若い子たちがZepを演奏してくれるのすごく嬉しい😊
The bass player is amazing!
Sad to say I never got to see Led Zeppelin play as they split before I started attending concerts, but it is very satisfying to watch you younger musicians and artists performing the older generations music. Thank you for putting a smile on my face and soul.
Welcome to the School of Rock CZcams edition. Awesome!
Brilliant
Came here for Yoyoko but stayed because rest of band are up there with her.
The singer has a beautiful voice.
Well done and more collaborations please.
That singer was impressive, even had that Woodstock look to her.
100K views in six days, plus another 40K on Ellen’s channel. Should be millions, but that will happen soon enough...
You young folks all sound fantastic, be proud and keep rockin’!!!
YOU GUYS ROCK! It was so much fun meeting all of you and watching this live. First recording session I ever attended! You forgot to mention that everyone (except YOYOKA) was from the "School Of Rock" in Las Vegas. I loved how you all got along together, not always the case with musicians. Especially loved watching YOYOKA and Ellen being goofy and acting like kids. You all have made life long friends. And thanks to Hovak (Ellen's Dad) for arranging all of this and including YOYOKA. You did a great job on the filming, editing and well, just everything!
Especially when Ellen smiles after the run along the length and back of the bass.
Great band all around. No doubt about that. But seriously, the singer makes this song happen.
Yoyoka makes any drum kit sound like the best in😂 the world!!!👍 👍👍
According to reactor Wave Potter when she jammed at his home studio she made his kit sound better than it ever has. She is an expert at tuning, muting and of course playing. Such a deep pocket..
She's one of the best drummers around anywhere male or female incredible! 😊🙏😀
I hadn’t watched Ellen before, but I like her style. Great feel and she knows how to play it cool. Glad she could jam with Yoyoka - in person!
Revisiting this clip and realizing that this is exactly what’s so good for these kids. Playing with and listening to other players! That is invaluable to a musician!!!
Yoyoka has gone on to record two jazz EP's since then. Her tour of Japan this summer produced really high level music.
great sounding mix
Eva the very young bassist rocks !
Superb! That's one hot little bassist. She's already got the chops, the look and the moves.
This cover did not disappoint Zep fans. I love the outro work the most.
OMG THESE KIDS KILL IT!!!! WOW never stop rocking keep my music alive!!!
No autotune or melodyne here. This is real music from real talented musicians!
Possibly the best cover of The Ocean on CZcams! Fabulous musicians and singer!!
Alright all of you guys are great! The little girl bass player though is next level. Great moves, and stage presence. The drummer also is exceptional. The guitar playing is spot on, vocals are good.
Search Yoyoka.
This is the best cover I have ever heard of a Led Zeppelin song you guys need to do more Led Zeppelin do all their top songs because the world needs to hear this you guys are absolutely fantastic
Second best for me. Heart doing stairway to heaven at Kennedy honors in 2012 will move you.
Hope to see much more from Ellen and Yoyoka. They seem to blend very well. Matteo and Eva did a great job too!
Yoyoka, that was a fantastic cover of "The Ocean" you and your band mates performed! Outstanding performance by everyone involved. Sound techs , mixers, videographer EVERYBODY.
That little squirt on bass guitar stole the show. What a character! 😍
So great to see this little grooving with that giant bass. ...and yoyoka always in the pocket. Good vocals and guitar. Much talent!
It’s fantastic to see her enjoy playing in the company of other talented musicians closer to her age. Of course I love watching her perform as equal to seasoned pros, but she gives off a different vibe here. It’s such a joy to witness her journey. Go Yoyo! 🥁♥️
All of you kept the pace, the speed. All in line. Drumner? You kept them all on time. But, i see no watches. Ha ha haaa. Great work. The love of music is in all of ya. It shows.
This is incredible. I wasnt even sure it was real for a minute. They are all great, but i just want to give extra props to the young lady on drums. She is incredibly talented.
He is a girl! Yoyoka! :-) Look it up and you will be amazed!
My favorite Drummer AND my favorite Bass player?!?!?!
Yes Please!!!!
Excellent performance by all of them. Doing a cover of Led Zeppelin amazing! It's a long way to the top of you wanna Rock and Roll. Rock rock till you drop, rock rock never stop and keep on rockin' in this free world 🌎🌍 yeah!
I can't help but think that if John, Robert and Jimmy see this they won't be proud
Yes, that good!
Keep working on your English lessons Yoyoka. I have a feeling you will be traveling through a lot of English speaking countries in the future. BTW, awesome Led Zep cover by you guys.
Phenomenal job by all!!🤘
Looks like a lot of fun collaborating with other talented kids yoyoka…glad you had fun! 🤩 🙌👏👏👏🥁🥁🥁
Do you know what cool is? Cool is practicing and practicing and honing your gift, playing an instrument or singing with precision and passion. You guys a epitomize coolness. Brilliant. ⭐️
Have been watching Yoyoka for years! So awesome to see young people playing ACTUAL MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS! Thumbs up.
The Fantastic Four!
yay great job, sounded awesome, singing and instruments, guitar and drums woo hoo.
INCREDIBLE!!! Real musicians. 👍👍👍
すげーよ!
Most excellent cover!
From the singer, the guitar player and the drummer, but no one had more fun that the little bass player. My respect and admiration to all.
OUTSTANDING! Rock on young lady - ROCK ON!!!
I like them all, but Yoyoka is on another level... 💜🙏☮️
That was beyond great.
Yoyoka GOATzilla!!! ROCK ON!
All these kids are impressive. Yoyo is amazing in that she is so well accomplished and established at such an early age. I like that lead singers voice too. And that little gal Ellen has a sense of rhythm that is way beyond her most folks three times her age. Her tone is good, her timing is close to impeccable, and she naturally plays off the drums. I hope she and Yoya get together again; they make one helluva rhythm duo.
タイム感というか、グルーヴ感というか、レッドツェッペリンのまさにそれ。
oh YEAH! This just made my day! Never any hesitation checking out Yoyoka, and when it's a Bonzo groove, there's no way to click fast enough. Many thanks for this awesome rendition. Damn them flams!!! Aw so GOOD!!
I'm not sure if the chill down my spine got to my tailbone before or after I landed on it when I fell out of my chair.
大好きな曲😊Yoyokaちゃん大好きなBONZO cover でいつにも増して Groovy だけど他のメンバーも凄く素敵です🎵特に Ellen さんの bass play 安定感に才能を感じました❣
OMFG. Nothing less than brilliant and inspiring. And Yoyoka continues her amazing blazing path of emergence as a legendary phenomenon. Thank you!!
