I think Play On Tabletop does a better job condensing it, but if you don't mind longer episodes, this channel is great too.

The Telemon only gets FIVE attacks for two fists. You have to choose your Melee weapon in 10th, you don't get ALL of them.
Yeah it's really sad because it makes taking 2 fists worthless...

This. Like they said, you choose one weapon. Unless it says extra attacks, you only get the one weapon to fight with. There's a reason no one takes double fists: there's no point.

Mortarion has an aura of 6" that let's anything within said distance ignore any modifiers to any characteristic. Which means that the Telemon does not benefit of its ability as it modifies the characteristic on an attack.
The same is also true of the squad Trajan leads, the contagion has no effect on that squad
However I believe it specifies that doesn’t count for armor saves. So they wouldn’t be down a toughness but they’d still be down an armour save
@@TeutonicKnight92 Not correct. Trajan does not ignore modifiers to his saving throws and the aura affect the save characteristic which he ignores in such case.

Love both these armies. I play custodes, quipster your bikes advancing into the middle of the board looks even more glorious when juxtaposed with winters amazingly revolting DG. Great game

P.S. I don't think Telemon would get 10 attacks, as none of his weapons have EXTRA ATTACK keyword, thus he mush choose one, so już 5 attacks. Unless otherwise stated, having two same cc weapons doesn't give any benefit.
I was curious about this as a custodes player, feel Gw should have added twin linked if two fists as seems to be how they have addressed similar data sheets

As a Custodes player myself - This was a fantastic game! Telamon is an absolute unit... Great to see Winters bringing in his DG, always a good show when Nurgle's Pawns show up!
Telamon only gets 5 attacks, not 10, but it’s still really good. Even with the recent nerfs custodes still feel REALLY strong, and definitely stand a chance in pretty much any match up, except maybe a super meta Eldar army.

I'm only on Turn 2 Winters but noticed that you forgot to repair a wound back on your Rhino at the start of your turn. Great report so far and an amazing looking table bud!
Technically both rhinos should have been removed from play as i’m sure i heard winters say he forgot to start the game with either having any units embarked

That's not how multiple melee weapons work, the Telemon fists are 5 attacks, it does not matter if it has 1 fist or 2 as you can only make attacks with a single melee weapon (unless a weapon has the extra attacks ability) so the Telemon only gets to make 5 attacks not 10. i.e. it's pointless to take 2 fists instead of 1 fist + gun
Also Trajan has the Supreme Commander rules which allows him to ignore ANY modifiers to his units characteristics, this negates the Death Guard -1 to save since that ability specifically states that it is the Saves Characteristic that gets worsened by 1.

So with the Telemon Dread, even with two fists sadly you will still only have 5 attacks. Sadly the other one does nothing though I WISH two fists did something.

Great batrep. I think the best contagion against custodes is reducing WS/BS, its easy to put them on a 4++ anyway.

In first turn shooting crawler next to mortarion can ignore modifiers due to Mortarion so he should shoot on 3s with normal ap

Axes are AP1, that bloat drone at 1:19:20 should be saving at 4s not 5s. Doesnt matter as there were 2x3s rolled but pointing it out for future, MORE IMPORTANTLY THATS 5 ATACKS EVEN IF YOU GOT 2 FISTS ON TELEMON, YOU ATACK ONLY WITH 1 MELE WEAPON NO MATTER WHAT. 2 fits only give you flamer to shoot with, so it always should be at least fist+gunarm. that would actually change game quite a lot. Another thing is leader get squads abilities, so here, trajan should be rerolling 1s/all

Amazing game gents, just a question, Foefid Bloat-Drones have. Anti intantry 2+, which cause critical wounds (always wounds) but are the devastating wounds too. The wording is confussing
I believe Morty next to PBC should be giving it re-roll 1s to wound (idk what you chose), also Morty's other aura lets you shoot indirect at the PBC's native BS since you can ignore the modifier from indirect.
