The way Tiberio's eyes just light up as he talks about all these different types of breads makes you know that he takes his morning bread and coffee seriously.
I dont think I've ever seen him this happy to explain things in a video before since thr Palettas episode!

I brought pan dulce to my husband’s family reunion in northern MN, and those people were so excited to eat it up! There’s a couple bakeries in Minneapolis from what I remember, but most of them never had any.
My local bakery makes their pineapple empanadas with a flaky crust, and it’s so delish I usually get a box of mostly those

A lot of these breads look very similar to things we get in Malaysia and south east Asia as a whole. Love to see that no matter where we are in the world, we all have a connection in one way or another. And I mean, who doesn’t love bread?!

Conchas are the best when they are still so warm that when they put them in the paper bag for you they squish each other. Everyone should be so lucky to find a good Mexican panaderia, the kind that has a schedule for when their fresh bread gets taken out of the oven, has people waiting in lines that go out the door even when it’s pouring down rain, and has both good pan dulce and pan bolillo.
Those are my favorite conchas and bolillos.

I have to be picky with anything sweet but for pan dulce, hands down, I will not turn down a concha 😂 With hot coffee, chocolate, tea, milk... that ish is a comfort trip. You know when you watched your grandparents dip their bread or cookies in their coffee and suddenly you want some of it? That feeling is universal. 🇵🇭
