We asked our Mexican dads to taste test and rank the famous American fast food restaurant, McDonald's! McDonald’s is a world famous fast food chain that is most known for their hamburgers!
They were founded back in the 1940’s and according to their website, they have become one of the world's leading food service brands with more than 36,000 restaurants in more than 100 countries. The dads tried some of the most popular McDonald's menu items! They tried foods like the Big Mac, McDonalds fries, chicken mcnuggets, sausage egg mcmuffin, filet o fish, mcdonalds apple pie! Yes!!!!! I grew up eating McDonald’s. I love eating happy meals when I was a kid it’s being back memories. Right now I eat quarter pounder with no pickles with fries + tangy BBQ and large sprite.

I cried at the filet-o-fish part because my mom as well would always want the filet o fish. She is 69 and fortunately still with us but that part really inspired me to live in the moment more and really enjoy life even more while she is still here. Much love ❤

Arturo was literally shaking after grabbing that fish patty, omg, I cried after seeing him cry, too. It was so cute seeing his board with a 10++ for his mom.

aw geez, arturo that was touching. it's funny how little things like that can hit you right in the feels. I get that same feeling when i make a certain type of breakfast sausage. fond memories of my grandma making me breakfast when i was visiting as a kid.
This one had me crying along with Arturo! I don't know what it is, but McDonald's feels very sentimental. Like they were saying, you have family members who had their favorite things to order. You would go when it was a treat or a "band-aid" when you were very hungry and needed something quick. Again, like Arturo said the fish sandwich during lent! All the food is wrapped up almost like a little present. It's very comforting food and I love their reactions and all their stories that came along with it.

McDonalds fries are very thin so I feel that ketchup overpowers the flavor of the potato

Arturo's memories of his mother hit me hard as I lost my grandmother earlier this year who was essentially like my mother since my mom was always working 90% of the time while I was at home. The pain of losing a parent is so hard to describe so when he started crying I did too 😭😭😭

I remember eating out as an incredibly special occasion. Crikes! My mother made KoolAid with half the sugar to save money!! OMG---speaking of mothers: I am so touched that tears arrived at the sight of a fish sandwich. That is just so touching and so wonderful to see. Thank you very much for keeping that in here.

The Apple Pies used to be much better when they were deep fried. Somewhere in the 90's we lost our way as a country and started baking them. When I worked at McDs, I used to cover a pie in soft serve and caramel sauce.
How has that never been a menu item at McDonald's, Apple Pie A La Mode, all the ingredients are already on hand, maybe just some new packaging, something to keep the ice cream and pie separate for delivery. I imagine it would sell more ice cream and pies

In poland we have a Jalapeño burger, i don't know if in US they don't have it, but it would be fun to see papas try one to see if it is good for them!
The fact that they were all on board with the apple pie 10 out of 10 gives me hope for the world. Weird choice to do a sausage mcmuffin and not the #1 stunner bacon egg and cheese biscuit with a hashbrown though.

@@melancholy6597 how old are you? mcgriddles were a stoned invention I made when I was 15 in a mcdoodles kitchen. I also made the fried chicken for buns sandwhich, the 4 patty cheeseburger, and the surprise your french fries are chicken fingers when you reach in the bag.
Who doesn’t love McDonald’s nuggets classic with the sweet & sour sauce …I just wish we still had the Cajun sauce 😢
the new mambo sauce is kinda like s&s but spicy. I didn't like the jam though.

I gotta be honest. One if my first words growing up was 'fen fye'(my version if french fry) i only associated the golden arches with french fries. I loved McDonald's fries and there are pictures of me growing up, with McDonald's french fries in my hand (somewhere)
To this day, my favorite meal from them is chicken mcnuggets and a large fry with barbecue sauce.

The filet-o-fish is probably the worst burger at Maccas and my favourite would be the mcspicy burger but I also love the sausage and egg McMuffin for breakfast … 😋

If you hit McDonald’s when all the food is fresh it’s great. That’s a rare occasion! Otherwise not so much. My grandkids will eat it regardless. I worked there back in the day. They didn’t treat the employees well and kept everyone part time so they wouldn’t have to pay for benefits. Hopefully that has changed. I loved the comment “McDonald’s is like a bandaid when you are hungry.” Truth! 😊
