Confused between ideapad slim 5 core ultra 5 (16 inch)vs yoga slim 6i (14inch) evo IPS display (which i can custom build 2.2k display) i dont want the oled display version.
my usage:
It's multimedia consumption, Ms office work, finance related app etc and casual gaming (if possible).
Same use case as yours. Didn't want OLED. If 14 inch is good for you - custom build ideapad 5 pro with ultra 5 125H, 2.8K IPS at 70k. If 16 inch - get ideapad slim 16 with i5 13500H & 2.5K IPS 350 nits from offline exclusive store for around 72k. 2024 (Ultra) Ideapad slim 16 has 1080p IPS

- Ideapad 5 Slim 16" (73Whr + i5 13500H - 10nm) = 9- 10 hrs expected (official claims 22.5hrs)

@@sadhnakumaridutt8145 After credit card discounts you will get it at 68k or even lower (depends on the bank offers on Flipkart). It's a good laptop for office work but it is on the heavier side. Not recommended for gaming or any other tasks. If you want something portable go for the 14 inch version. Or else go for the Acer Swift Go 14 model it is a Evo certified laptop (better build quality and port availability).
I am a writer, so I got this model with the 16 inch screen for better viewing angles of document file while typing.

I would suggest everyone to not buy IdeaPad series of Lenovo. The build quality of all ideapads are bad. You should go for the more premium series YOGA. It would cost a little more but deliver you the peace of mind.
Suggestion: Lenovo Yoga slim 6. You can get better prices offline from offical Lenovo stores, just bargain with them and use your credit card and student discount.
