    Entire generations of us Italians have grown up seeing and laughing at this type of film with Bud Spencer and Terence Hill.
    Now that many years have passed, and seeing how the whole world has evolved, I can understand how lucky we were to live in that historical period before everything changed.

      The German dub for those Bud Spencer & Terrance Hill movies is insanely funny. Completely different to the English dub (and even the Italian that in some of them is the original audio)
      Unfortunately the German used is very hard to understand for seasoned non-native speakers. Loads of empty phrases and metaphors. Someone had a lot of fun doing the original dub translation.

    When I was a pre teen in the 70s we’d go to the drive-in movie theater with our pajamas on and have a picnic supper with our parents. There was usually a Trinity Movie on the “b” screen and after watching the main movie we’d drive over and watch it on the other screen. We loved Trinity as kids. I remember us laughing at the comedy. Didn’t notice the violence for some reason. Laying in the backseat in our pjs on pillows and blankets eating popcorn &!half asleep.
    Too bad they don’t have drive ins anymore. They could never control the customers these days. But those are awesome memories.

      In my town the drive in had a $100 drawing every Friday so my brother and I knew every Friday we would be in our PJ’s in the back seat, watchin’ a movie. The drawing would be halfway through the second movie so they got everybody to stay through intermission. As soon as the drawing was called, everybody left halfway through the movie. Maybe 2 or 3 cars out of hundreds stayed until the end. The sound on those speakers was like listening to a movie through the speaker at a fast food drive-thru. Later in high school I learned that if a car in the back 2 rows at the drive-in was a-rockin’, don’t bother knockin’.

    • @nikikinsnw
      @nikikinsnw Před 4 lety +1
