When I can afford to buy plywood again I'm definitely going to do this to my workbenches.

When I redo my project table, I might go this route..
1:10 I have a rolling infeed table (SO handy for feeding long or wide stick through the table saw) which doubles as a parts cabinet and tool crib. Along with my project table, I did poplar banding around it, knocked the corners down with a 45 degree angle cut with my circular saw, and then added a chamfer all the way around. So when I inevitably bash myself against one of those surfaces, there's less cussing.

Laminate is like the past. In the Northeastern PA, it's hard to get. Great video

And, looks like a small chamfer router bit to finish it off? Nice video!

can you rout grooves for track clamps? i assume so, but just checking if it would be an issue looks great by the way!

That's the stuff that's on my kitchen countertops!
I hate it because BLACK shows every grain of dust and dirt, or any drops from spills.
But I would not mind it on my workbench.

hey, hey, hey. at 1:23 what is the magic we are NOT seeing ? I have this huge sheet and NO idea how to cut it, looks like you clamp it down and score it and then bend it till it POPS ??

You are very brave, I would have cut it bigger. I have better luck with the solvent based contact adhesive. Sticks better for me. Just made wings for my table saw. In addition to rolling it I clamped the edges for several days just to be sure it did not delaminate. If you stick the stuff in the wrong position you can remove it with lacquer thinner if you use solvent based adhesive. If is comes off cleanly you can restick it with the same glue.

Nice video. You never wear a mask when making cuts. Is your filtration good enough? I find I have to wear a mask or it wrecks my allergies

I order from a big box store, a 4 by 8 sheet, and a big box shows up ! I bought a maple peice and a cherry ... HD also sells you samples or gives them to you. Good luck !

Nothing to do with laminate- sorry- but the music in your videos is really good and unusual- can you post a play list by any chance?
