- 1966 Mustang Inline 6 Engine Install
Tons of progress made while working on the 1966 Mustang during this episode. The engine and transmission get installed as well as I get a big order of parts and install a new heater box.

Nice video i got a 64 with an inline 6 that im finishing up cant wait to start drive it good luck
This my first classic project, having a blast so far! Good luck with yours!
Awesome video! I’ve got a similar 67 inline 6 that I’m pulling out. Do you recall where and/or how you connected the chain to lift it out? Thank you
Thanks for watching! I grabbed the exhaust manifold bolt holes on the passenger side and two random spots on the drivers side. The front on the drivers side was the spot where there is a freeze plug and two bolt holes on either side, a little smaller then I prefer but it worked. On the back side there was a bolt hole down low. I used the engine leveler and an extra chain to make it work. I highly recommend an engine leveler with your shop hoist. Makes pulling the engine and transmission together much easier.
@@WhitetailGarage thank you so much! I have a leveling bar as well so it should be good. I appreciate it thank you
Does that torque converter have the ring gear welded to it? Couldnt tell from the video. If so where did you get it from?
It does. Not sure the brand, the convertor came with the car.
@@WhitetailGarage trying to find one for my 65 i6 c4 but unable to locate one. Going to have to go different route.
Is this a 300 inline 6?
It is 200 cu in.
