Proof that MLS is growing and improving. No need to go to Europe to see quality soccer, it’s all just a name. Support your local soccer team!
Loving MLS and all that, but it's called football, change the name of your shitty sport and call football, football.
ummm, the word soccer comes from actual English ppl when the game was invented.
Settle your pits, Becky.
WiGeBsy14 your so upset about a name, call the Australia's team for being called the Socceroos
I mean, this isn't the best MLS game I've seen. I mean, ATLUTD and RBNY usually play pretty fluid soccer. This game was unusually choppy in that regard.
People can laugh all they want, but the MLS is slowly getting a little bit bigger and better every year! I think 5-10 years from now people are going to be pretty surprised.
Enzo Lorenzo FIFA Gaming Where do you see MLS in terms of rankings of best leagues around the world. I could see them at #6 behind England, Spain, Germany, France, Italy. I don't think they will beat those 5 leagues but you have a point. Where do you see it in 5-10 years?
Honestly, I don't think they are even in the top 10 yet. I wouldn't even rate it above Liga MX based on CONCACAF Champions League results. It's going to take time to catch up to Europe, but with the amount of growth the MLS is experiencing lately there's no reason why in 10 years they can't be one of the 5-10 best leagues in the world. When you think about the population numbers in the US, plus Montreal and Toronto the potential for revenue is just going to naturally be higher and obviously the more revenue you have the more opportunity you have to buy top players. I just think it's a matter of time.
Enzo Lorenzo FIFA Gaming I think it's better than Mexico's league in terms of entertainment and in the top 10 in leagues to watch and follow. It's also got lot of the legends from Europe that come over here and retire. But for skill wise and overall. I agree not in the top 10.
That makes sense. I guess from an entertainment perspective I'd say top 10 as well, but I am American after all!
Atlanta did not play good enough
They did leave BWP wide open twice early in the 2nd half.
Nagbe is soo good. I like how intelligent he is on the ball.
Both teams didn’t deserve to win, both were flat and giving up easy goals. Btw I love how I haven’t seen BWP at all and he just comes out scored the late equalizer like that. Red Bulls’ be happy that you got away with a tie.
Woah what happened to the original upload?
They somehow only uploaded the first like 6 minutes of this. Therefore they had to reupload.
LordOfLuxury glad they realized the mistake.
Good result
i think everyone but atlanta fans love seeing them lose
Macho my favorite player before LAFC became a team was Nagbe so I kinda don’t like seeing him lose, but when he’s not there and Atlanta lose idc
ALT got robbed
Robbed? Tthey should've received 3 red cards, Lawrentowicz, LGP and Garza (correctly called).
Every team in the league at this point has voiced their distaste in the state of officiating. Something needs to be done or the MLS will continue to remain in the background of World Football. Atlanta didn't play up to par but we deserved at least a tie.
then you must've despised the 2010 World Cup Final. An English referee didn't issue a red card to DeJong after kicking dudes in the chest.
BTW, Wright Phillips was barely marked on his 2 goals. That tells me you deserved nothing.
Oh don't get me wrong, we deserved to have those 2 goals conceded. No doubt about that, just poor defending. But as far as having one called back and another unfairly conceded, I do not believe that the final score was an accurate representation of the match.
Atlanta should've ended the game with 7 outfield players with Larentowics LGP and Garza (correctly) sent off. Be thankful Penso was bad. ATL's players should ease up, reckless play home or away ain't gonna keep ya at the top of the standings for long.
Every league in the world have bad referees.
And I agree with you, but every other league in the world isn't completely dominated by officiating decisions like the MLS has been this season.
