  • Two years ago, I left Guildford in England to go and live in Pori in Finland. This video explains what was behind this decision, including, why Finland?
    Links to videos I mentioned:
    1. What causes inflation. This video that I did explains the Austrian Schools view on the causes of inflation. It's accessible to non-economists, so all will understand it • WHAT CAUSES INFLATION?
    2. Gill Bate's TED Talk - "Innovating to Net-Zero" Just looking at it again, and it's TWELVE YEARS OLD!!!! • Innovating to zero! | ...
    3. Lorraine & Dr Hillary 666 Number of The Beast • Lorraine & Dr Hillary ...
In the video, I also forgot to mention that I lived on a Kibbutz in Israel for six months. I also spend about a year, on and off, living in a flat in the 20th District of Vienna in the early 1990s.

Brilliant Nigel. If I lived in the UK or Europe I would also now be in Finland. I "live" in the Gulag which is Melbourne Australia. I refused to take the vaccines and lost my job, I simply refused to wear my Y-fronts on my face and ended up losing nearly all of who I thought were "friends" and family - all gone to this day. I detest living here in a State where the chief Totalitarian Supreme Leader Daniel Andrews was just re-elected back to Power for another 4 years last Saturday. The people that live here deserve what they have and will keep getting. Australia seems to have a propensity for oppressive police control - which traces it's routes back to the vast number of "wardens" who accompanied the thousands of penal colonists who were dispatched here around 200 years ago. This violent characteristic's of the original Wardens (bullies, cowards, shallow ill-principled etc) is still evident - half the police force comprises of them.

As a teacher I had very similar experiences. I refused to wear the slave muzzle and also refused to enforce it in my lessons. I experienced visceral hatred from my colleagues but stood firm. I also refused to let students leave my lesson to get speared and made it clear what was happening was morally wrong. The Marxist teachers also lobbied for my removal on discovery of me being unvaccinated. 2 of them refused to share a room with me when we were called to meetings. The whole experience revealed people for who they really are. I'm stronger for it and even more secure in my principals.
Like you I tried to wake up leaders of the school with sound factual information and sensible argument but only got branded as a far right conspiracy theorist. The ignorance and cowardice of these people is something to behold!
It's settled down now but other staff are still very wary of me. It's very strange!

Same here! We took the decision to move abroad in August 2021. We were in Ireland and I was very disappointed about how most Irish people reacted and run to the concert. . We sold our house and in November 2021 moved with all our stuff to Poland. My husband is Polish. Like you we bought a house in the countryside without even saw it. My mother in law and her brother went to see the house and took pictures. We were really afraid to be stuck in Ireland if we would refuse to attend the concert. I think, as in Finland, the weather in poland is much better, we are having snow right now and very little humidity. Our health improved so much. The people that attended the concert where so surprised to see how much healthier we are now, I was in a wheelchair and now I can walk thanks to the dry weather and of course to our refusal to go to the concert. Many didn't understand our decision to leave the comfortable city life and move to the east but they are now thinking we are doing something right since many of them are not healthy thanks to the concert. I took and early retirement as well. I am not socialising very much here because I don't speak Polish and at the moment I don't mind. I like keeping distance from people because I think I have some kind of trauma seeing how easy people were manipulated and I lost my trust in people. In Poland only around 60%of people are vaccinated and I like this fact, many people hate the government and there is a underground economy still working since communist time. Hats off to you Nigel for not going along with x, y and z. I remember sitting down with my Parents telling them everything that's going on/planned. To start with they thought I was losing my mind. They actually came outright and said I was OTT about it all. I remember being stood there at their house telling them that yes, it does sound crazy but I'm telling you the truth. Obviously, as the months have past by they don't think I'm a nutjob lol. Last week someone said to me why aren't the sleepers getting it with regards to all that's going on. I said well for now, they're too busy being distracted with the footy and christmas. I then said believe me, when they experience real financial pain and lose practically everything that they've ever worked for including their home when they can't make the monthly mortgage/rental payments and their job they will soon wake from their slumber. A couple of months ago I had someone say to me that they're so pleased they had x3 cups of tea as they went onto say that they feel protected now. The week before last, I had someone ask me why I was so against the cups of tea. My reply was I'm against them due to the amount of AR's and the fact that millions are now in a grave yard. They looked at me gone out. They most probably still believe that the C one Niner Toe is real lol. I have only had a handful of people come outright and say that they deeply regret the cuppas. The rest have gone awfully quiet.

Brilliant post, Vanessa. Two things (1) Fewer people are turning up for concerts 3. 4. 5 etc. This behaviour pattern shows that they know they're no longer trusting of the government. (2) asking people to wear a slave muzzle in return for furlough was an easy sell. As you say, when they lose their home, and their leased Chelsea Tractor goes back, their desire to conform to the latest thing - Slava Ukraine, global climate warming change, whatever, won't be there. @Autumn Well that was a reply.....& some!. Maybe more akin to a sermon, lol. Firstly, I'm not particularly religious & I don't watch Nigel's channel for his religious beliefs. Your last paragraph states that you are not judging Nigel, but you clearly are judging him, especially around his religious behaviour. I noticed that you never mentioned his wife or son, as if he is solely responsible for the decision to move to Finland. Does your view of Nigel jumping ship also apply to his wife leaving Finland to live here in the UK?. If so, does that mean she has redeemed herself by returning to her native country?. Since I'm not religious I don't like to debate religions & their understandings. For every christian there is a muslim, & then a hindu, followed by numerous other religions. Religion itself is usually borne out of which country folks are born into. If you're born in India, you will likely be hindu, if you're born in western countries you'll likely be christian etc.. It does seem that which ever religion is the right one, that makes the others the wrong ones. I don't object to others & their religious choices, but for me, well I'm just not wise enough to know. & that's not a cop out, it's simply the truth. Although I like to think that I am relatively informed (hence my name), I also acknowledge my limitations. I'm not informed of many other things such as quantum physics or astronomy, so it's not just religion that I fall short on. As for Nigel & his family, he saw an opportunity & grabbed it with both hands. It's a big commitment moving to another country, (done the formal way) & I'm glad it's working out well for them.

So glad to have done it. Being in a low population area made the lockdown an inconvenience but could for most of the time be ignored as its not policed and everyone did their best to live as normal. Thanks Nigel, much appreciated.
I have left the hospital (as a clinical epidemiologist from NL) after they fully went for the concerts and showed no signs of wanting to seriously debate the other side of the argument, not even as a hypothetical…
Now I work as a consultant at some corporation, which is better, yet feel that I am not there yet.
One thing is: it’s easy to lull yourself asleep thinking that things are not so bad when you do the work that I do (a bullshit job, practically). People are friendly (most are), it pays the bills, everyone is doing it, it’s socially acceptable, heck: it might even be useful work! That sort of thing…
But it’s not useful work (at least not what I am doing) and might even be considered as harmful (all the time and money that is spent on my job could be spent on so many better things…)
I think that many people do not know what work actually is, and how much of a joy work can be if it is really purposeful. I have used the furlow time well and spent it on manual purposeful labor (my wife and I bought a shop in 2020 that sells useful stuff) combined with deep thinking. I like that and feel that it should be possible to continue that. But at the same time I am losing it (again) to the usual daily mindless job routine of academic affiliated nonsense.
I am on my way out, however, but am trying to pick the moment where my departure would create the best possible outcome (so to say)….
One of the pleasant things (being still in) is to see how are other people are dealing with their current (non) existence. It’s a struggle, but since many do not know or are afraid to acknowledge where the struggle comes from (the demons you described in the previous video) it makes them struggle even more. I can still help people from within. But cautiously…
Anyway, this time has been useful to me to wake myself up, although I must always keep in mind how easy it is to be put back to sleep. Another thing is that, apart from keeping yourself awake, it is just as important to wake up others. That’s a day-time job! I very much appreciate the work you (and other commenters here) put into that.

Being bored is much better since at least I cannot be held responsible for potentially killing off 80-90% of the world population.
Speaking of being bored, I wouldn’t call my current job boring, even though I consider it as a bullshit job. The interesting part is that all of my colleagues seem to enjoy their work, which they consider as responsible work, with some status, etc. So I ask myself: what makes them tick?
Some (like me) might just pretend that it’s responsible work etc. But given that at least in NL 80% of the working population works for a bullshit job and not all are pretending, I find it highly interesting to try to find explanations for their behavior. All this academia affiliated jobs are bullshit jobs, just like regular journalism is, law, economics, intelligence work, you name it. Why are these people mad? - Well, I observe, and I write and to try to make (as good epidemiologist) some sense out of the nonsense. The dataset contain my colleagues with all their funny traits and behaviors. Highly interesting.
Of course there comes a time when none of this matters anymore, since bullshit jobs will disappear.
They already find it difficult to find employees for bullshit jobs. Why is that?
Well, maybe some have seen the light and decided that life is more than shiny, responsible, status confirming, well paid bullshit work. Would not be a bad outcome, wouldn’t it?

I thought I was being brave when I was pretty much the only one on the entire London underground without a nap 18 months ago but of course everyone were strangers who I never had to see again. To do it every day surrounded by disappoving people you know is something else. Some more talks about Finland would be great in future vids, cheers.

I did much the same as Nigel, in September 2020, I drove to Sweden from Hook of Holland for a whole month, the sense of freedom was wonderful. I spent 2 days in a mountain hut sharing a bunk room with 6 other people. I had to smile when a Swede ask how to get into the Sauna and I told him it was closed because of Covid, the Swedes were blissfully unaware of what was happening in UK and else where. It felt like Paradise lost, as I drove back over the bridge to Demark and I felt sinking feeling when I saw the EU flag with DE on it and winter in the UK 20/21 proved. that. I decided to give up the cottage I was renting and with aim of going back to Sweden for skiing, but the Fascist regime were fining £5000 anyone going on holiday in March, so I created a business trip to our software supplier in Ukraine. I left on 15 April 21 for Hook of Holland then drove to Ukraine, I played the theme to the Great Escape when I crossed the border. I stayed 3 months in Ukraine before getting the ferry from Odessa to Georgia across the Black Sea, where I have been ever since and have no plans to return at the moment. If you can remote work there is no reason to stay in the UK, most of the rest of the world is far cheaper to live in, even Swedish cabin in rural area with a wood burner is cheaper and nicer to rent. If we all left then the Davos crowd tax base is gone, which will accelerate the collapse, but Sunak / CCP fanboy Hunt regime, don't appear to realise that. So sadly I am loosing hope the collapse can be avoided, the Davos cult are all in now for their Brave New World. The climate is going to have to turn significantly colder to over turn Net Zero, like a 1963 UK Winter.

You are right in so much you say, remainers just want the option to move abroad, they lack the guts required to do anything about it. I laugh about the face nappies, in Portugal I went to my 5 year old daughter's school leaving award do, about the same, 200 villagers, teachers and local politicians, I was the only one at the OUTDOOR event without a mask. We had security, jobs accomodation in PT, no freedom though. We packed up a van, a car, no jobs, no house, some savings and drove over 3000km on a fake PCR to Sweden. Paraguay has been a popular choice, especially with Germans recently. I also was researching many different options, the climate is a bit warm there for me.
Years prior I emigrated from UK to Australia, where Dec 2019 I grew to realize the situation may actually be worse. Nobody who was not important or rich was allowed to enter or leave, but you could request special exemption under exceptional circumstances and most applications were refused. That was very worrying and I recall exactly two years ago I decided to leave, deciding very quickly saying we need to take a chance right now, even though the borders were closed, or we may never get out. After about 8 months, wrapped everything up, closed my business, and applied for an exemption, after a nerve wracking wait, it was granted. Flew out and found a different world on the other side.
I have to say the biggest fear was the language. Which turns is actually not an issue.

I will continue to speak out dear Nigel as there are still so many people out there in this country and all around me who are all totally hypnotised, under a deep spell, and I urgently need to do something about it. This world is so totally messed up it's absolutely horrifying! The only comfort I find these days are in playing my music and staying close to my hubby and friends. Playing my piano is what keep me sane in these totally insane and terrifying times! I've also been struggling badly with my health, spending this last year recovering from major surgery, and the thought of the NHS in complete ruins as it is really terrifies me. 100,000 nurses and also paramedics and a whole load of other workers in the NHS will start crippling strikes in the coming weeks which will bring the NHS to a complete shut down. It's absolutely horrific, the stuff of nightmares! How dare these people who's job it is to help save lives go on strike! Just what the blazes is this country coming to???? All this garbage about those Britney Spears concerts too! Thankfully I had the sense to avoid those and will always do so! Anyway there's a real bumpy ride ahead, so yes everyone needs to be warned. We are definitely in the end days now, it's all in Revelation 13 as clear as day. Please take care all here. I planned my move after a couple of years of Tony Blair. I really could see it coming. My wife wanted to know where to and her instruction was any place outside of the EU. We chose Montenegro. A great place for all real U.K. people to move to. Been there now 17 years.

I am thinking the same. The system is very broken and our institutions have been taken over. Prepping for 2 years now and on my way out of the larger city.

Can't say I blame you. I've thought of doing the same but not Finland (seems too cold). Very interesting video and gives me further food for thought.

Good, speak up and talk to others about what's been done to us.
