I was in tears in this session. Your yoga practice has been divine on my journey through graduate school, family changes and now a pandemic. You speak words of wisdom and I am forever grateful. 🥰✨
I struggle with suicide, intrusive thinking, abandonment issues, toxic relationships(Romantic, platonic etc.), no sleep and everything in between. My life is the hardest is has ever been in my adult life. I am 24 and I feel I am losing every single thing. Including myself. And any time I think of taking my life or just going into hiding or distracting myself. I always end up going to Sarah Beth. To recreate routine or to find safety in rerouting myself. I started her videos 3 years ago when I went sober. And I never looked back. And getting back into this such an emotional and physical relief. And here I am in the middle of the most horrible storm and this video seems to find me. These words in this video are so loud and encouraging but so gentle and soft and caring. Like I am a lion, who is being cradled like a baby. I hope everyone else is taking care and that anyone who needs it will find this video. I hope to find true love in myself and in the right partner one day, to follow my dreams and to find strength in the fact that I am always changing and life will accompany me with that. But for now I am doing the best I can. And her videos make me feel like the best I can do is the most rewarding. I thank Sarah Beth and that this space in yoga and the internet feels safe. And I hope everyone struggling can find solace the same as I did, here too. Xo

Thank you for sharing that. It takes a lot to balance good mental health..especially when you have had a traumatic past. Another aspect..apart from dealing with any trauma, is what we put in our bodies. After much research..I have eaten an anti inflammatory diet for the last two years and feel loads better. I hope you can research this and it helps you too. A book that helped me a lot is "A Mind of your own" by Dr. Kelly Brogan.

9:21 I am in active recovery from addiction, with coexisting health conditions, peri menopausal , a DV/SA survivor . Letting go of control is perhapy greatest challenge. I started doing yoga with you Sarah Beth almost a year ago, this was the first video I did. I still find myself coming back to it. This would have to be my favorite it's so empowering and calming. It's a true cleanse. Please do cow face legs more often I love that pose! Thank you for being you, you changed my life.
I loved a lot about this video... for 1 I love that you don't use the yoga names for the positions all the time! I just want to know what to do with what body part...I don't care what it's called. 2 I love the motivational commentary that you sprinkle in throughout the practice. 3 I love that you acknowledge the stress and brain wandering and embrace it rather than telling us to tune it out! 4 I love the music! I find it so calming and relaxing! 5 you describe each pose so well that I can do 90% of the video with my eyes closed! Great video! Thank you!

Hi Sarah Beth. I've been a follower for years but the last 12 months I have found it SO hard to even try and start yoga again. I knew I needed to but I just emotionally couldn't face it because I am exhausted in body and mind. I chose this video tonight out of spontaneity and I cried especially at the ending. I even struggle with the modified version because I have extremely tight hips and shoulders and I'm also very inflexible. But I still managed to feel my breath in my body and release some tension and become more present. Thankyou. I'd love to see a series for men, especially very inflexible people. My favorite part is when you talk calmly so I don't feel the intense stretch as negative but positive! I love the saying: You can't always control what is going on around you, but you can control how you react to it. I'm 55 years old and I wish I had taken yoga when I was 20 to learn to be more patient with people in general and my middle schoolers that I taught.
