(Offshore Wreck Fishing) Big Kingfish Caught On 30# leader, Cudas, and Black Drum!

  • We headed a few miles offshore on a calm day to see what was biting at the wreck. A smoker kingfish came by and peeled line off the Fin Nor ofs 6500 and was landed on 30# fluorocarbon leader, a black drum put up a great fight on light tackle, and the usual suspects were around.. barracudas, snapper, and mackerel! We used live greenies for bait with weight on the bottom and freelined.

    Great video. Is that the GH Barge? The inside looks like it. I put a tank on and dove it once and there were a ton of snook in there!

      You are correct! Nice, what month did you dive it? We've pulled up a couple snook from there but there's a lot of competition when that bait sinks down ha
