"I was expecting it to be two dudes." It kind of is? It's the story of Vi and Powder/Jinx in the undercity, but Victor and Jayce topside. They did such a good job fleshing out every character, giving them their own desires and moral dilemmas.

Vi is my favourite character and I can't believe she's going to have her own show. Didn't think that she was popular.

@@sehoonkim5872 I would argue both of you guys are right, they're both the main characters. Don't want to get into spoilers but they both significantly impact each others decisions which lead to the finale of the show.

I’ve been a jinx main since 8 years ago when that “Get Jinxed” music video was released and after taking a 3 to 4 years break off of league I hear of Arcane. With Jinx, my favorite character from league. So obviously I was hyped.
To answer the question around 0:55 ("what the heck is an Opus"):
It is Latin and means work (of art). I have previously only seen it in the context "magnum opus" or "great work"; either the best work of an artist or an alchemist making the philosopher's stone. In context they could simply have used "series" or "show". Or maybe they wanted to connect it to the related word "opera", as in "soap opera"?

It's been a long time since I've seen a series trailer this epically produced.
It's a little ironic that Vi....
ends up being the person conjuring all the monsters and demons that Jinx has tried to quell under Silco's parentage. This is somewhat also reflective of Viktor's quote, "In our pursuit of greatness, we failed to do good." Vi's great aspiration of getting Powder back failed to see that what Jinx needs in her life. A person that provides her purpose, who believes in her and accepts her for who is she is. In short, a figure who has good for Jinx. Her bullheaded approach in trying to get Powder back only lead to the series of events that would culminate in Silco's death, her mentor and father figure by her hands. "Breaking" her mental state beyond repair and killing any vestiges of that crying little girl she though she could bring back.
Disagree. Jinx started the whole “get powder back” with the request that Violet kill Caitlyn to prove she’s still a priority. She has long descended into madness, it’s just that Powder isn’t mentally healthy either. But Silco got what he wanted for Jinx in the end. Taken the quote from some other CZcamsr, but “Powders last act before dying was killing Silco. The fully reborn Jinx’s first act was to start avenging him.”
Did Poki not realize that the older sister is VI? I mean, she only spoke about Jinx when talking about the sisters 🤔
I think she did.. she also mentioned that these are characters that she's already attached to.

I understand that with games, but this is with actors with actual fame and clout. Having them do interviews automatically makes the whole thing more “legitimate”. If you’re smart, you want this to happen.

The Lore is and has always been beautiful Pokimane. Unfortunately, because of businesses, they destroyed such wonderful masterpiece - placing Seraphine, a non-sense character into the game just to increase the fan-base. I am hyped for this series. I stopped playing league but I will watch this movie. Thank you for showing us this trailer :)

Pokimane is the most annoying to watch a review.. like holy moly I have never been so disappointed.. her random squeaking as clapping and to top it all off she made no effort to elaborate on any points. Her review was zero information and made the trailer .ask her to take it down and make a more professional one.
