Well, a school superintendent in Texas recently left a gun in the restroom of an elementary school during school hours and it was discovered by a first grade student. Given that instance, it’s reasonable to believe that there are some very absent minded and negligent gun owners running around.
I remember an armed police officer left his gun in the toilet. It's possible.

I remember at the time I thought that he absolutely had her killed. I was surprised when he was acquitted.
I wasn’t. I also thought he was guilty, but I knew he’d be acquitted.

I'm happy to have these episodes where it isn't taboo to fell the truth about the flaws of the victim. Also happy to see that there are still people who believe there is something morally wrong with women exploiting the vulnerability of lonely hearted men. It's far too pervasive today and is clearly doing harm to an entire generation.
To be fair, if he didn’t want to have a child with her, he shouldn’t have taken her word that she was on the pill. He should’ve taken his own precautions and wrapped it up.

This episode is horrific. Being a con artist doesn't mean you deserve murder. The way the interviewers are so comfortable disparaging her like she deserved what she got is victim-blaming at it's most awful. She was not a good person, but she didn't murder anyone. Blake is the psycho murderer. The criminal court failed, but at least the civil trial resulted in the correct verdict.

I think a civil trials after a court verdict of not guilty are totally unconstitutional. Say it was you and you definitely did not do anything think of yourself what you are right now you're not guilty and the jury finds you you personally not guilty. Didn't think of the family that still believes you did it winning a verdict of guilty to me that is the same as double jeopardy and should be abolished. Only God knows who's guilty and who isn't but if you're found not guilty you should be not guilty. We should not be judged twice on this Earth

I watched a full documentary on this and a lot was left out. It actually does show a lot of doubt. The witnesses were terrible… they were caught in a lot of lies and then they interviewed the restaurant owner and he did leave the gun there on accident. They timed how long it would take and it was clear that he wasn’t the one to pull the trigger. But he could of hired someone

And some kind of big metal phone box. It was the only spot where he, or the shooter were completely covered/hidden. He picked that spot very carefully. I’m glad he got off. On another note, his plastic surgeon is very bad. Yikes

I've never been so back and forth on my opinion in a case like I was watching this. On one hand it seems like yeah he obviously did it or had it done. He did seem obsessed w the baby in a way. On the other hand why would he even marry her and let her stay on his property it seems just to keep the baby around just to have her killed? I'm so torn.
It looks like he did it (my gut), but it was not proved beyond reasonable doubt. I think he was tried just to expose him to public.

If a sex partner doesn’t want to be with you and thinks they will make a better parent than you, it doesn’t mean you deserve to die and none of your other relationships as don, brother, friend, or father to four other children matter. Her family lost a loved one, and deserved much more than that. You better hope some wealthy or powerful individual is never responsible for harming your loved ones, and you get treated like her family. She was a human.
