    Stripping the steel cable out of the concrete pillars is priceless -

    • @maxguod
      @maxguod Před 3 lety +1

      @Fred Jamison So I guess you know nothing about concrete building structures . I built cement silos in NY and Pa , did reconstruction on buildings in DC and was on several new homeland security builds in Baltimore/DC/Quantico . Pretty much well all you see is rebar . Doing two yrs in demolition work in Buffalo I ran into a firehall roof decking that was made by Spancrete . Guess what ? I had to cut a few hvac holes thru it and like magic - steel cables instead of rebar . Do yourself a favor for everyone and educate yourself before commenting . Check out the company that has been making " Spancrete " for quite the while -

      @Fred Jamison PS: just so I sound smarter I was on four govt jobs like dept homeland security union station , Rockville MD forensics lab , FT Bellvoire comm building and Quantico but I can't talk about that one . Also I calculate fractions , fractions to decimals , read blueprints , lay out isometric design , etc . Thank you for your comment -

      @Fred Jamison ok sorry ☺ . I do know your job - it is true that on new builds there will be change orders always - gotta satisfy all trades . Yada yada - lol

    When I worked for a mining company in the late 1980s I used to monitor the operation of a large jaw crusher. It could crush rocks the size of a 1 ton truck into pieces the size of your fist. Most of the time, this would only take about 30 seconds or so.

    Like all other crushers this one lacks power. If it was tough enough it wouldnt stop and reverse. Im fully aware of economies of scale but why is t it that most of these vids show the same lack of grunt >?

    I just about died when I saw the wood stumps being shredded. All I could think was, "Oh NO!! Do you know how many wood and resin pendants I could make? Wood and resin trays, wood and resin inlaid tables....gnome and fairy homes....."
    And then the engines....here I go again. Steampunk!!! Lights, tables, maybe some planters....
    I guess as an artist/crafter I see so much potential where others see garbage.
