A hard fighting Avon Cock Fish approximately 28-30lbs gave me an right run around in the classic Ibsley Bridge Pool, Hampshire Avon back in June 2022.
Thought it might get you in the mood to dust down your tackle and get ready for the new season ahead! Just 30 days to go!

Avon fishing is more affordable than you might realise. Somerley charges £ 400 for the season. Christchurch £ 250
Hi Paul, I had lunch at a pub years ago on the Avon close to the new forest it was called the Severn stars if I remember there were some lovely fish there out side the pub in a weir pool some huge chub, dace, very big trout as well, just wondered if you knew it think that was £200 a day years ago, I have cancer at the moment so I'm now out of work so it's not affordable for me to fish that lovely river..
