- Hi guys! I'm back with another video and today you'll be looking at some gruesome injuries that occurred during the shortened 2019-20 NHL season. Now there were so many different injuries this year, I just had to add a few of the more known ones. There were e a lot of injuries where there were no clips so if you notice a player who was injured didn't make this video, that's most likely why. I’m a soccer player, I think it becomes a instinct that they flop because a player has done it since they are kids. Or a kid sees it from a soccer player and does what the player does.

I have a ton of respect for the toughness and dedication these guys have for the game, It's like they are more upset that they will miss a shift than they are about getting hurt. There are a lot of other sports that need to follow the path that hockey players walk.

Who's the third islander that was cut in the video? Not only were those the only two islanders to be hurt in video, they were literally the only two clips with the islanders involved.
As a habs fan, I really like how backes looked out for the guy and signalled the training staff over. We need more of this respect in hockey. My respect goes to the Bruins here

Boychuk’s injury hurts me. I hate cuts near the eyes and neck. I can watch most of these injuries but Boychuk’s makes me very uncomfortable

@@hollandmajors6141 Announcers for some of these Hurricane injuries turn to straight out savages, but low key.. They speak a lot of facts, they speak what we think whenever something leads to an injury the refs dont call out, speaking on 4:30
ER nurse here! I hope this helps with family members/teammates of the victim. A lot of blood to the average person is typically not much blood. Every human being has 8-12 pints of blood in their body for a reason. If you get hurt and start bleeding quickly, do not panic until a medic tells you your injury is worth being concerned about. In my experience, the not-visible-to-the-naked-eye injuries are the ones who have more trauma and typically more painful as well. Stay safe guys!
I am a new hocky fan. I just can't believe how tuff these guys are. And if a man gets hurt it's like there all on the some teem. Everyone cares. I just love it.. All of you guys are the best!!!
I was watching the Johnny Boychuk one, as soon as I saw the canadiens player skate come up. I changed the channel for like 5 minutes.
I was watching it live to, I was terrified when I saw him kicking his legs on the ice, glad it wasn’t as bad as it could of Been
John Remondino yes, just a cut over the eye. He is very lucky he still has his eye.

What about Matt Calvert’s injury at the end of the Avs and Canucks game? Glad we won it in overtime, or else I would’ve been livid. The fact that the refs didn’t do anything about it until after the Canucks scored is still mind boggling to me.

I had the Marner injury before but I completely tore my Achilles somehow. But yeah, I’m in D-2 hockey at the moment rehabbing that’s injury so thanks to COVID I guess?
I think I heard that the NHL rulebook states that the team with the most points at a time when the season is out on hold, (on this case, the Boston Bruins with 100 points) should be awarded the Stanley Cup when the season resumes.

Ice Hockey is one of the deadliest sports. You have so many blades around you that can potentially slice and kill you. But not only the blades, also the hockey sticks and the cold hard ice can kill you fast.

I was at the game at 4:48 when Mikko hit his shoulder . From the way he was cussing and holding his arm you would think he broke his collar bone but it was only a shoulder injury
shoulder injuries are still serious. The poor guy was injured twice this year on separate occasions.
I’d rather break my collar bone over dislocating a shoulder.

No reason to lift your skate up that high when you know you have knives on the bottom of your feet. Luckily, Boychuk had a long career up to that point but he had to hang it up after that.

I play hockey in a junior team in sweden and i can tell u it hurts to watch hockey injuries but to get them dawn it hurts last year when i thought my career was over one of the other teams player came after me and hit me on the neck and i flew into the counter right to the ice hiting my face and broke a leg and the nose
