A great match for us, at one point I thought it was going to end goalless and the chances we had costing us the three points. But a great back falling to Firpo and scored.
Summerville should of passed the ball to Harrison, who was wide opened, he would have scored. But we got three points and that all that matters right now.
Totally agree, we are in a dogfight and we cannot afford to spurn chances. Summerville had an easy ball to Jack but instead we had a nervy moment when they got a corner and a free header that they should have done better with.

You can see in Firpo's face that he was sending a message to all the haters who have given him nothing but stick since joining Leeds!
He said himself in the post match interview that the new manager likes to attack with wingbacks and that is a position that suits Firpo better.
Look at the amount of goals and assists this guy has produced previously at other clubs when he's played on the Wing as either a forward or wingback.
He does have defensive qualities but playing with 3 at the back gives Firpo and Ayling more freedom going forward.

Important win, much needed, Javi will need to work on finishing next in training, defending has improved, wing play has improved, full back play has improved. Time to work with Gnonto, Summerville, Aaronson, Harrison and Rutter on their finishing. Bamford? He can help collect the cones 🤣
I just wish Aaronson played in McKennie with the one-two. McKennie did the side before self pass to Aaronson, while a shot was on. Aaronson shoots, but I just wished he switched it back to McKennie for his 1st ever goal and Aaronson as a 10 making an assist.

Us fan. Mckinnie doesn’t score many goals after taking on a defender. He’s better on the cross from his head or feet. That’s probably why he didn’t go to goal. If their positions were swapped Aaronson would’ve scores

@@mateo1726 He has scored goals like that though. I think burt is correct, Aaronson tried to handle it instead of the return touch, almost but not quite like McKennie's last goal v Mexico. McKennie made an OK play, the defender had committed to him and turned his back to Aaronson. It was a bad touch by Aaronson.
@@burtlangoustine1 There are alot of things you can do as a player besides those things. You can be a playmaker, and counterattacker among other things.

First time we've been this defensively disciplined for a long time. Got some bad habits to be coached out of but I missed the feeling of solidity. With these players and hopefully a big shot of confidence we can take advantage of Potter's last game in charge of Chelsea to but boost our survival odds with a second win on the bounce.

It's about time that leeds players pulled up there socks and standing getting more goals to keep away from the bottom. That's if they want to stay in the Premier league with the big clubs above them. The players do know what to do and how to play and picking up points to get away from the bottom.

Agree, he's judged based on the job he does not his passion. And I think he's overall done a poor job and wasted a lot of money with his gamble signings.
