Can u please tell me is it hard medium or soft charcoal pencil and what are u using to make areas look white

i just did this with my charcoal set and honestly i dont reccomend charcoal
it can be good for drawing and a cool afffect but it breaks alot time to time like every 2 mins and takes 10 mins to sharpen
but otherwise its really cool
