    I just bought this and used it today - the water in my washing machine wasnt dark coloured during the wash, but aft the wash cycle is done, there’s a lot of dirty residual left over in my tub that’s not washed off… I tried many other cycles on the machine but it still didnt help.. had to manually cleaned off the dirt using a wet tissue… then decided to clean a small load of hand clothes but there continue to have more dirt coming out after the wash cycle../ do you have any advice for me? Thanks!

      @fuzzy34r  Před 2 lety

      I suppose its been a long time since your last tub clean? You can try filling up the tub and try to scoop up as much residue as possible using a small fish net. Filling and rinsing the tub a few more times might also help to remove the remaining residue. Hope this helps!

    Hi do i need to remove the filter when tub cleaning? Can I use regular laundry detergent?

    • @fuzzy34r
      @fuzzy34r  Před 2 lety +3

      Best to remove filter as the debris will clog it up. No, regular laundry detergent will not clean out mold and soap scrum inside the tub. Tub cleaning powders/liquids that are specifically design to remove hardened detergent residues.

    • @a.ozzie.o
      @a.ozzie.o Před 10 měsíci

      I had this question in mind too, and also used it the last few days. Mine has a pause function but I didn’t use it. It somehow pause and let it soak as part of the tub clean function.
      Washed my clothes in netting just to be sure, the day after, unfortunately there are still dirt flakes attached and present.
      I’ll try to tub wash again for the second time soon and update you. Hopefully the second tub clean will totally clear off the dirts.

  • @amlesh8638
    @amlesh8638 Před 2 lety +2

    Not the right way. First thing to do is to add only hot water to the top. Then add 3 cup of vinegar and 1 cup of bicarbonate, this will make a reaction. Then let it run for 5 minutes, and let it sit in for 6 hours, then run it for 10 minutes and filter the debris with an aquarium net filter. Then drain all the nasty water and tub dry

    • @fuzzy34r
      @fuzzy34r  Před 2 lety +3

      Vinegar and bicarbonate will just react together to make carbon dioxide and neutral compounds. I understand a lot of online resources recommend doing so, but the bubbly reaction has little to no cleaning effect against stubborn buildup. Best to use a strong oxidising agent like hydrogen peroxide (available in colour beach and most commercial washing machine cleaner powders) to break down mould and residual dirt buildup. I also tried using aquarium nets in my subsequent video but found that it is still most effective to simply drain and fill the machine multiple times to get rid of most of the insoluble debris. Do check out the video here:
