- With shoppers stocking up for Easter Weekend, they can't help but see the noticeable change in prices. From grocery stores to even discount stores such as Dollar Tree and Five Below.
Gasoline going up, Electricity going up, Natural gas going up, rents going up, Homes up ⬆️ ~ car insurance is going up 🛗 food is going up 🛗 ~ wages going up said no one ever.

99 cent store used to be the place to score name brands for cheap and other goodies. Now they're almost at regular grocery store prices for off brand stuff . Haven't been by in a while .
There still are deals to be had. Today, I got some 4-pk, 6-ct of Thomas English Muffins with Apr.4 expiration for $1.49. Placed them in the fridge and freezer for prolong storage.
In many cases ... you'll find the $1.25 PRICED ITEMS for LESS at another store 👍

Canned Corn and Beans are .79 or less at Walmart - can definitely add canned spinach and eat a meal on frozen old vegetable scraps and get a meal for less than three candy bars! A sack of flour for $2.50 or less and let it leaven on the counter to make sour dough. That’s still pretty good.
Panera Sip Club is $3.25 for a bagel a day with cream cheese on $14 a month for endless fountain drinks. Just a bagel and butter is $2.05. It’s more expensive to drink at the grocery store but not from matcha outlet and lemon juice with a sweetener.
Remember this when you go 2 vote n November you vote Biden it will get worse
They need to change the store name to $1.25 now since it’s not a Dollar store anymore .

I literally just went to the 99 cent store today, and I was looking to see ANYTHING at all that was 99 cents.The items that used to be 99 cents are now 1.29 or 1.59...and most things are waaaaaay overpriced, especially the food items. Very dissapointing

One way to save hundreds of bucks is to get a rollable swamp cooler and check the weather in the summer. Look at the humidity and use it accordingly. No sense using that AC on a Low humidity July day when there is a reasonable alternative.
