Love the videos so helpful , have my test in a few days . What are the common grade 3 reasons that cause someone to fail ?
How long is a piece of string? There are many grade 3 marks, it depends on the driver and the route. People lose marks on grade 3 for serious things like mounting the kerb, pulling out in front of another vehicle and running a red light.

I got my license in July, but still watch all your videos. You really helped me to pass. Is there any chance you could make a video on the type of traffic lights where there are multiple set up together? I find it so confusing to know which one is mine.

Hi Dane, hope you're good, I've just started watching your videos . I have 3 failed test attempts. My heart was broken and I took a 2 year hiatus where I didn't even think about the driving test but now I think I'm almost ready, thanks to your brilliant videos, some invaluable nuggets here and there. My 4th attempt is in 10 days time. Do you have a video on entering a dual carriagway/slip lanes? I was out practising in Wilton, Cork and I couldn't merge with the traffic, only for one fella flashing me!! What would you advise in this case?
Keep an eye on your mirrors, use signals and try to get up to a good speed as it will be easier to merge if you are not too slow.
Great videos!I have passed my test first go today ,only got 4 mark 1st grade!but one mark was because I did not turn quicker to the right,there was a Lerner out in the road,coming from the opposite direction and had right of way,so I waited for it to make his turn,problem was I think the Lerner stoled, or something must have happened, I it took him a long time to complet the turn,so probably I should have gone first and complete the turn!any way...happy I passed .big thank you to you

Thanks Dane, quick question, during the line change, do we need to move the head to check the blind spot too beside 3 mirrors?
You don't need to check all 3 mirrors, just the middle and the side that you're going to. No need to look over the shoulder but a quick sideways glance is fine.
The rules seem a bit different in Ireland. I live in England and we have P plates after we pass but its not mandatory that we have use them.
I am extremely grateful that Ireland is not part of the UK, I think it was Michael Collins who once said "We've had enough of your (imperial) past, give us our country, to live in, to love" RIP Michael Collins, my hero, 1890-1922.
Dane can I ask u how I would go about getting an introduction to cars/vehicles & driving as someone who hasn't the first clue about it all , maybe a thorough book to buy to study rigorously given that I'm slightly nervous about it if I'm honest

Hi talk about warning lights I failed in my first drive test about this I didn’t know about
I would say that you failed because you weren't properly prepared or you made too many mistakes, you simply cannot fail for not knowing about lights of any kind. If there was a warning light on your dashboard then the tester may not conduct the test but I'm not sure if this is what you are trying to say.
No i didn’t drive at all I just turned on the key and warning lights was there man we are not allowed drive a car with those warnings light p, 7,8,9 but I didn’t know that’s i m trying to say just make a video with those advices
