Fantastic day out there Dan, really looking hard at the LG30. Took a trip to the beach this weekend and had my first Florin. Beach had been scrapped, so totally unexpected. Out this weekend coming with a new group and new ground. Thanks for the video, especially as you're not feeling well. Very much appreciated 👍

What a day! Some really great finds,that edward 6th penny made me get the spink out!,1550,s number 2474 ,looked in really good condition, great work!!
I've been meaning to check my spink book for that one, but hadn't had the chance yet 😅. You just made me get mine out, so thank you for the spink number 👌. It is in reasonable condition apart from the black tarnish which seems to be quite thick 🤔. Not sure if it will clean up very easily without discolouring the silver.

Absolutely brilliant day there. I've just gone onto the LG30 coil but not had the same or even near the same success yet. The targets have been clear when I've walked over them but they have been few and far between so far. Hopefully soon for me too
I guess, as always, we need to walk over it to find it, but the LG30 Coil certainly increases your chances 👌. Hope you have better luck soon mate, sending you some of mine 😉🤞🤞🤞.

Hi mate, checking in here as I am condemned to the sofa with horrific sickness bug!! Thats an epic day in the office mate, I've found probably 100 of those acorn sixpences but never found one as beautifully toned as that. Must be wet claggy ground. Its great to see how well your channel is doing now through your hard graft. Sorry I've not been around much, lifes been pretty tough for me in recent months and I've been putting my small amount of energy into my own channel
Sorry to hear you're not feeling well mate, hope you get better soon, and I'm sorry to hear you are having a tough time of it lately. Life has a way of getting on top of us sometimes, but I hope you get yourself back to normal soon buddy.
This was just one of those days where I walked the right path. That sixpence did have some very full on toning. Must be to do with the cley in the soil here, keeping them damp all the time 👍.

Great vlog. I did laugh afterwards on your comments on how hard (!) it is there in the East detecting !! Don't ever come down detecting in Devon and Cornwall if you really genuinely think that. 🤣 That's about 5 or 6 plus full days out to get anywhere near that haul down here! Keep up the great work enjoyed your finds.

I have a known Green waste field coming up, but in a location steeped in history so deff worth a day.
I will try to copy your settings and see how I get on
Every field is worth a day mate. It will most likely get frustrating with all the trash, but there will be some good stuff in there 👍. My cultivated settings will do the job mate, just ip the recovery to about 6 or 7, as there will be no point trying to go deep. If its really bad with lots of surface trash, pitch tones might be worth a try, then you can ignore the very loud tones and listen out for the quieter tones 😁👍.

cracking video mate well done on those finds you got 2 of my bucket listers there crotal bell and a cut quarter never saw any of them in real life got to clear the sh^t to find the silver 👍 I know where I would be going next time 🤣🤣🤣 think I need that coil .

Hi mate really enjoying your videos. I got into detecting about 7 months ago and still a rookie, but I’m learning. Started with the Nokta macro Kruzer 2nd hand but wanted a more upto date machine so bought the legend. Fantastic machine. So I find myself glued to your channel for great hints and tips and it’s great that you have put your 2 profiles up which I have Dailed into my machine. But there are a few queries that I’m not to sure about if you could help mate.
1. noise cancel. ? Do you press this after loading profile to auto find the quietest channel. Coil up or on the ground. Press accept reject button.
2. I have found the stability setting but can’t find the iron filter to set to 3. Can’t seem to locate in the manual unless it’s called something else.
3. Audio gain… is this the volume control that dictates the loudness of the tones coming through to your headphones/speakers etc.
4. Last bit and sorry about this. Is it 60 tone or 6.
Anyway hope you can help. Ps fantastic channel, keep up the great work. J
Great the you have got the legend mate, its a brilliant machine. Let's do this one at a time.
1. Noise cancel/frequency shift. Do this as soon as you turn the machine on. It's it the first setting you come to, just press the pinpoint button with the coil just hivering above the ground and let it do its thing.
2. Iron filter. Go on to settings, go to recovery and select the pinpoint button, IF should appear on the right of the screen for iron filter, then use up and down to adjust, and left or right to move to stability etc.
3. audio gain allows you to adjust how loud the deeper targets are. So if you have a very deep quiet tone, raising the audio gain would boost that target in volume. I leave this at 3, as I Don't want to make the shallow target louder. I like the to know the depth by the sound.
4. I use 60 tone. If you can get your ears used to 60 tone, you will master the machine, as it gives you so much information through the tones.

I can only really speak for the LG30, as I've not used the LG24 yet. Although I will say that they both have their own place and benefits. The LG30 is better at separation than the stock coil, and also longer so covers more ground. The LG24 is even better at separation between targets and covers less ground, but being smaller makes it good for getting in between tight spaces or stubble etc. I will be buying the LG24, so I have both and then I will be ready for any situation 👌.
