Probably the first time I’ve ever heard Rashard speak lol 🔥🔥🔥
No lie
I thought the exact same thing lol
same lol.
Real Shit
Definitely my first time
One of the most underated shooters of the past 20 years
Man in Orlando was lethal
@@BlickyMinaj leethallll...and with the length of his arms and release it was unstoppable
for damn sure
I don’t remember which 2K it was but that man was a bucket every time you passed to him
Underated? Dude just made like 200 mil lol
Rashard was built for this era. Man would be a Allstar in today’s game
He would be KD v2 .. this man was a beast in 2k though
@@nzmurda STRAIT CHEATCODE❗❗💯
@@nzmurda naw a step under KD I can’t give him all that
He made 2 Allstars in that era I know he would’ve triple that today
@@nzmurda man what!!! Hell yea
Rashard was ahead of his time and a certified bucket 🪣
Him and Ray Allen on the Sonics was a must see also.
First Splash Brothers
Him, Allen, and Ridnour were offensive cheat codes on 2K !
@@ndn624 and that stretch 4 they had Vladimir Radmanovich
Underrated Duo Too ❗️
Desmond mason, danny fortson, brent barry. Then allen got hurt and out came Ronald FLIP Murray. That one time they went like 13-0 to begin their season. And they drafted that long dude Robert Swift who bought a mansion as a rookie, then trashed it, and later abandoned with old pizza and molds all over the place. Lol
Rashard Lewis in this Era would kill no questions asked. Know this is gonna be a dope interview as always knuckleheads coming with it
He killed it when He played.
A Straight Up Baller
Cap
@@miketyson454 so explain why he wouldn't kill in this Era
@@miketyson454 he would bro. He was a two way back then and a solid shooter
Technically he did play in this era...
Gotta have Monte Ellis on the show! Another one apart of the “Straight out of HS faternity“
I agree.
Monte one of my favorites all time
@@RICHperrySmitty Underrated ain’t even the word.. 🤦🏽♂️
And he was a bucket
Mississippi bullet
Rashard Lewis. Man he would kill in today’s league. He had to guard players like KG and Chris Webber. Crazy
Well not really Webber. Shard played the 3 in Seattle, not the 4.
talk about tough assignments.
yup .. damn that's crazy!?
Nowitski,Duncan, Rasheed Wallace were some of his matchups too.2000s were competitive every night 💪
@@BlackSaiyan24 He Guarded Karl Malone Bra. I’m Sure he Guarded Webber At Some Point Considering all in Same Conference
This probably one of my favorite interviews y’all have done. Rashard was completely vulnerable and let it all out-entertainment & gems. Great show!
Dude yes
6’10 with a ratchet, ima Hawks fan n still have nightmares about how D12 was drawing double teams n Lewis n VC was knockin them DOWN😭😭😂😂😂💯
Man... Rashard Lewis is super humble... always can count on The Knuckle Heads for authentic and grounded interviews... 🙏🏾🔥🙏🏾🔥
Man Rashard & Hedo Turkoglu were ahead of their time!!! I was a big fan of that 09 Magic team. They would get buckets in today’s league.
I always like R.Lewis. Them early 00s squads on live were incredible. Three point shooters at every position.
I love how they revere their HS playing days/ AAU. Low key loved it more than the league
as good as he was back then, he would have thrived so much in today NBA cause of the way basketball is played now and also 3 and D wing is so hot at the moment. a SF/PF at 6'10 who shot nearly 40% from 3s with high volume... also a 80% FT shooter. Teams would have paid big bucks for him today
this podcast is so special, D&Q can relate to so many players in the 2000s era it was a fun time of basketball so many ballers that can get lost in the recency bias of today its fun to hear their stories
As a heat fan living in toronto, was so happy for him to get a ring with Ray Allen aswell
This interview only made Me even more Glad that Rashard made it and the player He became in The NBA
A Straight up Baller and a Real 1
Salute My Brother 🙏
Y'all gotta get Sprewell! I'm interested in hearing his story.
Lewis was a beast! Three point sniper!
Rashard Lewis was my favorite player before Lebron in middle school/ high school. He doesn’t get enough credit as one of the greatest shooters.
We need a TJ Ford episode asap
HTOWN IN THE BUILDING. I remember watching Rashad in High School and he was COOKIN... He was a year older than me and gave everyone in HTOWN THAT WORK
Hearing nba legends stories made me fall in love again with how beautiful basketball is
Lewis was a walking bucket 🪣 really was a true stretch forward that would put the rock on the floor…really was a killer in the T-Mac era and a killer on NBA LIVE 🙌🏾…salute to this man bro definitely underrated as far as talent 🤜🏾🤛🏾‼️
Insane on Live haha
Fasho on Live...I played with him when I gambled
DWIGHT HOWARD IS ONE OF THE BEST TRUE BIG MAN IN THE GAME. WHAT A CENTER WAS BEFORE ALL OF THIS SHOOTING WAS EMPHASIZED
DWIGHT IS TOP 75
It was truly disrespectful when they put harden, dame, and Anthony Davis over him.
This dude was a 3 time defensive player of the year, rookie of the year, 8 time all nba, 5 time all defensive team and a million all star games and he’s not top 75?!
Could not agree more, him not being in the top 75 was a real shame. Politics had to have played a part because of how he forced his way out of Orlando and a few other moments in his career.
“Who was the first person to bust your aaa” 😂
Shard!!! Legend still in Orlando. We love you bruh!
Would love to see an episode with the high schoolers that didn’t “make it” (together) to talk about the high school experience.
Korleone Young, Lenny Cooke, Shea Cotton.
Great idea brother, ESPECIALLY LENNY COOKE
That'll be dope!
Ronnie Fields too
Greatest part of these podcasts is learning over and over again that the players I loved when I was younger, I also love as people. Rashard is no exception. Love this dude. Then, now, always.
I went to Elsik high with him. I used to go to all of his games. Those were some great times. Dude could hoop.
I went to school with him too....hate that I never seen him actually play tho. He was a senior and I was a sophomore. Shout out to them rams and them bears alief TX all day and all night. DA SWAT baby!
@@cdoubler1697 No doubt Brody I appreciate u for showing unity Brody! I went to Hastings ,much love for Elsik as well. SWAT Texas 4 life !
@@jonathanlewis6834 Hastings right here came out 05’ remember the days of Him balling at Elsik the girls team was fire too Alief Proud 🖖🏾🍎
E-high till I die!!!
I remember growing up watching Q and his Whitney Young squad (Henry, Gates, and Najeeb a true frosh).. IL had some tough teams those years.. King with Leon Smith and Sawyer, Westinghouse with Banks and Bailey Bros, Wade over at Richards, Maine West loaded that year too . Fenwick with Maggette.. Galesburg was no joke either.. That Joey Range could ball.. Good times!
You wrote 2 names that you had to be a hooper to know. Najeeb Echols and Imari Sawyer.. sheesh
@@aaronhutchinson885 Echols was nice 😊
Rashard a legend in Alief! Southwest Houston 1 of 1
Always liked his game, love the way he admitted to who busted his ass he even mentioned 2, he was so smoothed loved him with the Sonics.
Forgot Rashard was picked in 2nd round much respect he put in work and got the bag !! Became a solid player good player !! Vets helped him tremendously
Man I love this podcast you guys go after more than just big household names shoutout to Knuckleheads for great interviews ! Side bar get JKidd on the show !
I fully agree!!! This is much better than sitting through first take and undisputed by a long shot. Players respecting each other no matter how thier careers shaped out. Hoopers know if you made a NBA team you a dog regardless!!!
i swear to god
What's up to the whole Lewis and Johnson family. Mama Juanita always treated me like family. Started in Winfield Park Apartments on Corporate Drive in Alief back in like 91. They stayed downstairs from me.
His older bro Ricky even came to live with us once we moved to The Clarke.
Always stayed humble, him nor his family never switched up, always kept it 100 with me.
Even though we haven't talked in years never got into it once.
Life just happened. Still love all y'all.
I'm proud u Rashard. Always told u that
Hope everything and everybody still straight.
Ricky holla @ me
I remember playing with Rashard Lewis on NBA Street Vol 2 🔥🔥🔥 him and ray was a deadly combo 😭
I loved playing with them on NBA 2K2
Man my boy from the hood! First 1 to get out and go straight to the NBA 8039 Boone Rd #Aliefshit
SWAT🍎🖖🏾
Man, Rashard is so real. Respect
Sweet Lew!! once again y’all knucklehead boys keeping the heat on em with this classic player!! idk if it’s because i grew up in y’all era or what but when y’all be bringing in these players who was instrumental to my childhood hoop dreams! i remember calling anyone pro athlete who had the same last name as me, Lewis, my uncle! so shoutout y’all for having Uncle Shad!!
The early 2000's nostalgia this pod just gave me with these 3 is crazy. The long white T's and airforces days.
Rashard always had a smooth ass game he was ahead of his time if he was with Sacramento during their prime he could've been a superstar
Top 5 most amazing shot. Loved his form and follow through 🏀
Rashard Lewis went to my rival school Elsik ,I went to Hastings .He graduated my freshman year ! Respect to Rashard 4 putting the SWAT on the map, truly was the truth in school, use to sneak over there to watch him play!
I came in your senior year lol I was 05’ at Hastings
Can you get Gerald Wallace on this podcast?
Mr Lewis to the Lakers right now! Wow. Its always a pleasure to see Q Rich and D Miles interviews. You guys do such a Great Job.
one of my favorite players growing up !!!! Thank you for this
I’ve been a Magic fan for a minute and this is the most I’ve heard Rasheed Lewis talk.
Lewis and ray was a decent combo . I award Lewis as the first sf/pf stretch 4 dirk the first stretch 4/5 and ockur of the pistons- Utah stretch 5
1/2 of the original “Splash Brothers”!!! My first time hearing him speak after all these years.
Str8 out of the South-speaks well. Str8 out of High School-speaks well! Kinda sound like Kenyon Martin(also from Texas). Dope interview.
Thank y’all for this, so good to hear his story one of the best shooters ❤
Wow definetly cool to see a lewis interview and hear his stories.. ever episode always fire... thanks for letting us see your world..
Nice to see Rashard Lewis on the podcast. Great job as usual Q & D for continuing to have guys like Rashard Lewis on your podcast.
Am I the only one who wouldn’t be mad at a Knucklehead’s x All The Smoke collab episode? Both sides asking each other questions about their careers. Each tandem played together. Both on the incline post-career. Under appreciated.
This podcast feels like listening to early year 2k underground hip hop music. Interviews like this are gems! Thank you Knuckleheads!
Bb
Q Rich always cutting them off is my favorite part 😂😂😂😂
Bruh...he tries to interject at the wrong time
He would be a superstar in today league 6’ 10 sniper 3 level scorer
I like how D Miles deflects the attention off of him when guest talk about how nice he was when he was younger.
I love hearing the high school stories these guys have. I can imagine all of them as youngins ready to kill!
This was an incredible interview. Rashad Lewis has a great career and had some great people in his corner who helped him become a solid NBA player. It was nice to hear his story.
Best line in this interview from D. “Go time for u D miles” 🤣 😂
Rashard Lewis!!!!!...Seattle Legend!!!!
I went to Elsik with him and his sister. I'm proud of him. MIGHTY RAMS, WOLF PACK, SWAT
Thank you for one of the best interviews I’ve ever watched thank you guys
Rashard Lewis was always one of them guys my young ahh love to watch he such a chill dude
One of my favorite players on the 2k series!!!! And in real life. Glad y’all did this interview.
It's great seeing someone you grew up with exposed into a legendary player in the league the real hard work and decided to his craft and become a Great 1 in history. Shout to both you brothers for this great interview Kings and Legend's in the world 🌎 of B-ball.
Rashard Lewis man. My favorite player back in the day! Much love
Appreciate this interview didn’t know this much about him but definitely a fan of his game.
Rashard would kill it in modern NBA man, dude was like a mini KD
I will always root for Rashard. I was a college kid sonics ball boy when he came to Seattle. Quite , timid kid....glad he was successful, be earned it!
Super Dope Interview! Rashard was One of My Favorite Players of The Late 90-00s…Same for QRich going back to his days at DePaul.
My fav podcast period!!!
Great show. Watching these guys talking basketball 🏀. Enjoyed every minute
great interview, one of my favorite players to watch!
I love Rashard Lewis and the players from the 98 class. I am the same age as them and hearing about their growing up as kids brings me back to my own childhood.
You know Boo Williams Gon look out for them 757 VA Boyz... Plus Ronald Curry won the MVP or the McDonald's game that year... Ronald Curry started at point guard at North Carolina and was the starting quarterback... The man is arguably the greatest high School athlete to ever live... National Gatorade high school player of the year in football and basketball in the same year 98
Kyler Murray is the greatest high school Atlhlete to ever live. Get it correct my guy 😂💯
How about Allen Iverson??
@@jeffwoods4222 No deal... He was such a phenomenon him and Michael Vick was in the same division (peninsula division) in high school and Michael Vick was an afterthought that's how good RC was...

Love that y’all show that late 90s early 2000 era on this show
Y'all guys have the best guests. Some real killers that kind of got lost over the years. It fun to hear about the early days, before the big contracts.
Lewis real humble had real game
"You def wasn't that guy in the big 3" -d miles is cold 😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
Loved this 1 still waiting on that Vince episode
Sonic legend!! Definitely a killer. Good content.
I really love these guys!! I’m loving this conversation!!
D Miles has a special place in my heart!!
Can yall please please get Allen Houston on the show. One of the coldest, underrated big guards. Smooth jumper and had a nice post up game. I'm a Pistons guy, and he was a monster coming out of Tennessee.
I have a picture with rashard at toys r us in Houston when they were closing down. Got to talk to him for a couple minutes. Great guy.
