998 is LOVED by us NB purist and has been for a while. It had a little wave almost 10 years ago and lasted for 3 until NB started to ramp up 990 models, and push the skating stuff. That Bodega collab set them where they are now where they had that explosion and havent lost favor since. Jack Harlow was already and had been rocking NB before that bodega collab. Jaden as well. Jadens shoes didnt make a splash. Its been the collabs for whatever reason that have been doing it for the new consumers. Its odd to me. I still like the old stuff, and gravitate towards it.

Not too long ago Kith did a 1700. I love the 1500 as well. I used to be one of my faves along with 997-998. I also love 1700 is I never see anyone rocking em. I've seen Jaden in em (actually skating em. Like flip tricks and all. Freestyle video) but he gets free shoes and like me tends to pick stuff not everyone is rocking.
