Stand offs on the high rise on a Tiffin Bus/Phaeton black pads deteriorated

The black pads on the standoff under the high-rise on the Tiffin bus and Phaetons deteriorates cracking and allowing water to get in and run down the top of the wall. In most cases it starts dripping at the drivers window at the front. We fix it by cleaning it and covering it with Wyatt CSL we refer to it as buttering the standoff.
