This video shows us cutting cleaning and resealing a 2016 Open Rd. around the beltline and the slide facia. What cause of black dots under the caulk. We used a striping knife, a plastic razor blade, Misty circuit board cleaner, the natured, alcohol and clear CSL.

The black pads on the standoff under the high-rise on the Tiffin bus and Phaetons deteriorates cracking and allowing water to get in and run down the top of the wall. In most cases it starts dripping at the drivers window at the front. We fix it by cleaning it and covering it with Wyatt CSL we refer to it as buttering the standoff.

2009 bus seal to low at PSR comp door

Had to add extra seal to 2009 Bus compartment door at the rear by the chassis batteries. It was too low from the factory and allowing Dust and debris to get in.

Found a water leak on this 2010 Phaeton in the middle of the PSF slide the D rubber had come loose. And the brackets were not sealed. We had to clean it up replace the rubber and seal the brackets and stop the water.

Cool so you lube the track which you're not supposed to, lube the rollers so they can accumulate dirt faster, and you don't hold the button to allow proper motor syncing. 0/10 tbh

I use the crc lubricant. I have seen the scwintech post, but it is a noticeable improvement. What is important is to use a lubricant that will not hold grit, which, of course is distructive. Most hate the scwintechs, we are just trying to live with them.

Well this is confusing, Swyntech recommends CRC with Teflon, and do you spray the track or not .
Don't spray the squiggley track itself, you spray the straight linear groove above that track. I use the CRC with teflon.
How is that fixed?
My side seems to out about about an 1 in than other side. I have tried resync several times and it has no change. Should I do the in and out first to get to them the same. And do resync ?
It needs to be all the way in or out. You may have to use the switches to get them all the way in or out. Then do the reset at the module
I cannot for the life of me find a "striping" knife. Where would you go to find one?

How much does Aqua Hot service cost? And should you do this every year?
Yes annually. We charge 250. Includes new filter and fuel nozzle. And up to 1/2 gallon of fluid if needed.

What is the trick for the Dometic awning cover? How do I remove the cover without removing the entire mechanism from the coach?
The domestic has a center bracket. The top and bottom screw on each end. And both sides have tension. But you can get away with pinning one side. Also note that in some cases you have to remove the brake also called the anti bellowing mechanism.

Question on the metal channel that you are showing in the video. Did you add that channel or was it originally installed by Tiffin. If you added the channel, how did you secure it to the ceiling? If Tiffin installed it, can you explain how you tightened the channel to correct the sagging condition. Thanks
we buy it from tiffin and it has a heated bow in it. we cut out the foam on each side. pre drill the holes and use screws to secure it and a jack to Finish it

Gotta love tiffin bay doors. I always use masking tape on the striker if it doesn't shut properly. Shows me where the latch catches the striker. Keep the videos coming. Some will blow up if you keep posting!

Can you further explain what you are doing
using a fog machine outside the rear of the coach and turning the fantastic fans to exhaust to pull in the fog and we can see where it is coming in
