    THANK YOU! For not putting 10min of talking about nothing and getting straight to the point! Learned so much in 60 seconds than watching 5 other unwrapping videos that left me more confused.

      That's the problem, I had to watch it 5X. Really don;t like speed demons. Sure it;s quick and I have no idea what you just clicked on. There's showing you what's possible and then there's teaching. Most can;t teach.

      @@GrayHand-jz6ie it's catered to people who already have a basic knowledge of Zbrush. I understand your frustration. He can't both teach 9th grade and kindergarten in the same tutorial.

    Hey Danny. I try to polypaint to get the seams where I want them, but now matter how much I paint the back of the head and towards the backside of the ears, the seam just doesnt budge. It either chooses either to only be at the back of the ears (running across the top of the head) or it just want one slit down the back of the head. How do I fix this? Thanks.

    I'm relatively new to ZBrush, so I have kind of a beginner's question...
    I lost the subdivision history of a model I made. I need it to create a normal map. So, I watched a video on how to restore that using the ZRemesher. And, it worked.
    Then, I needed to create UVs for the model. It created seams I didn't like, but it came time to close the file down for the night. I opened it up again and that resolution / subdivision history was gone. UV seams are there, but the only thing that exists in this scene is a seamed, low-res version. I still have the scene (lower version #) with the subdivision history restored by the ZRemesher technique, so I can go back and try again.
    Thanks folks.

    As someone who has no idea about how 3D works: Why is this necessary? The model looked the same in both the beginning and the end.

    • @DannyMac3d
      @DannyMac3d  Před 5 lety +1

      The texture at the start is polypaint but most renderers read textures from 2d images. In order to map these images onto the model you need to assign the coordinates. It's tricky to explain in a comment but I did a workflow video here: czcams.com/video/cn0z9yJkR2s/video.html
