How to split big logs with a small axe or hatchet

​@@bootsowenthe axe can bounce and the blade is now moving and facing your direction. What you could do is put the axe in and take a hammer to the axe head until it splits the log. Keeps the blade pointed away from you and takes less strength than swinging the log with the axe head itself
