Your hatchet is very dull

@@erenfethat hatchet didn’t stick with the first tap on the split piece of wood.
@@erenfeplus the first piece of wood shot out instead of the hatchet cutting right through.
@@MrThorMNFinestAny hints to make it sharp would be useful(all I have are some old files)

I couldn't help but cringe while watching. Dude, your not even wearing gloves.
You need to wear gloves because you wear gloves! In all seriousness, at that point my hands were plenty calloused to not need gloves. Today, they're back in that state, but they lost a lot of that for a couple years when I wasn't doing as much outdoor & handy work.
