- Claudia Wells rose to stardom when she landed a big role in the hit movie series 'Back to the Future' starring Michael J. Fox. But it wasn't long after that she fell into obscurity. It wasn't until she was cast in the tv series, “Herbie the Love Bug" and it was there when one of the stars boldly shared Jesus with her. “He talked to me about the hole that was inside of me, and if I don't fill it with God, and if I don't fill it with Jesus Christ, it'll get filled with men and drugs and problems,” said Claudia.

Wow, I always hated that they had a different actress for Marty's GF in Back To The Future 2, but knowing the backstory now I'm glad this woman's life turned out for the better. So few actors and actresses can go through life without falling into terrible lives. God was gracious to her.

Absolutely the truth and I went through similar except I do not have anything to do with the movies but it was 49 years old before I got it that God really did love me that he would have died just for me if that's what it would have taken and I gave my life to him 23 years ago on July 4th the year 2000 and I have never looked back and I was a Christian my whole life I just you know have this thing that I heard from my father that I would never amount to anything and he's right I didn't far as the world is concerned but for the last 23 years I'm done much better it's a journey especially when you got to get rid of those those old habits I didn't necessarily have all these bad habits not that I was by any means perfect but it was a mindset for me I just married and remarried and married and remarried looking for something to fill that hole and finally like I said when I was 49 I realized it was the Lord and I truly submitted to him completely I'm not saying I don't make mistakes I'm saying I'm looking forward and not looking back and I'm certainly looking for the Rapture at any moment

Dean Jones was always one of the most admirable male actors in Hollywood. Too bad he's the exception rather than the rule.
Well he prayed the sinners prayer and she admitted that she really didn't know what it was about. Saying that prayer doesn't save anyone. A person has to know what it means and have a change of heart.

What a heartbreaking childhood! 😢 I can’t imagine hearing my parents say they wish I was never born and I never said any such thing to my children. I was approached by a modeling agency when I was 19. I knew how ugly that industry was and that it would destroy my self-esteem which wasn’t that great to begin with! Praise God! I’m His child and my worth is in Him!!

I love this story--so glad for her. I heard the same filth from my mother ("I wish you'd never been born"), and it's a hard thing for a kid to hear. Thank God some of us get past it to the truth of salvation.
My Mom occasionally told us we ruined her life. No. She ruined it with alcohol.
@Juno @2degucitas my Mom wanted to abort me (would have been her 3rd) but my Dad insisted she marry him. He didn't even know if I was his. She didn't either but they married and had a horrible, miserable relationship. Both resented me for it but I didn't know why until I was 18, which is when they were waiting to divorce. She died of alcohol and tobacco just after. Eventually my adult daughter did an ancestry test and found she's related to my Dad. He's now 92, I'm 62, and we have a wonderful relationship! Jesus turned my horrible life into a fairy tale and to top it off, my Dad just came to believe in God after being a staunch atheist his hole life. Jesus sustained me throughout the trauma of being alive and now has blessed my family beyond anything i ever imagined those years I cried myself to sleep every night.

Wow! What a loyal daughter. She took care of her mother who abused her. At most, I would expect her to pay for her mother's cancer treatment in a hospital. Not give up her career. How selfless!
Selfless might be the wrong word as she did say she gave up acting to hurt her mother at the time.

One of my all time favorite movies. What an incredible woman of God Claudia is! I’m a crusty combat veteran and this touched a deep spot in my heart. May God be glorified through all of us who aren’t a mistake. God knew us in the womb and He loves us. Oh how He loves you.

She's very relatable. I grew up with a mom like that too, and I also resorted to drugs and alcohol to destroy myself. Also, like Claudia, I found Jesus after all that!! He had never left me, or forsaken me, He had plans to give me a hope and a future (with him for eternity.) He was waiting for me the whole time!! Now I live my life for Him and it's more fulfilling than I could ever imagine. Abundant life in Jesus! 💓

Awesome testimony..I spent many years as a christian trying to deal with a father who due to his own pain hurt us all. I came to realise hurting people hurt people. God's love for me as a father replaced that heart of pain the more i chose to trust him.I love my dad and forgive him and celebrate that at 93 he is still with us.
At 18 mom told me my being born was a mistake on top of dad leaving the family when I was 9. Thanks to mom though, I met Jesus at our church from about age 5 to 9, and He is all I'd ever really need to keep me pushing on.
And a couple years ago when he was 81, I had my estranged, atheist dad also come to Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior.
To me Claudia was a beautiful addition to BIT with a perfect body. Sounds like her mom was purposely trying to hurt her with lies about her body, which is devastating to a young child's psyche.
I'm glad to call you my sister in Christ.
