  • Creating an inexpensive fencing system to begin rotational mob grazing. We had half the farm mulched to see if we could get the rushes under control and hopefully give the grass a chance to grow.

    best way to get rid of rushes is Lime, fertiliser, Cattle and a weed wiper with Glysophate

    Hiya there l,ove the video! My partner and I have just bought an old farmhouse in Kerry and the land surrounding it is dense with mature rushes as the farmer kept cows on the land. Can you recommend how to go about hiring someone to cut the rushes ? I've not a hope of growing veggies on the land if its filled with rushes 😅

    Unless you do some serious drainage it won't grow shit
