Though I have taken the map route to Swapnavel viewpoint, it took me through some of the treacherous roads which are not really fit for the commute. The idea roads are via Tilari Nagar. However, I had no clue about this and I just followed the map. At the beginning of the ride, met a local who was kind of worried I took this route and going alone. There were sudden offroad where I thought I will get stuck, There were forest routes with no single soul around. There were many diversions and there was no one to ask too. However, I kept going since it is a pain to return on the same route. Swapnavel was a surprise and had an amazing time there. Beautiful valley and waterfalls. Then I rode to Tilari Nagar and then to Dodamarg. I am not sure why it shows always closed in google maps. While getting down the Tilari Nagar Prassanjit suggested this beautiful lake on the left. I think I mixed the routes and ended up going inside the forest all alone with no traces of vehicle gone in that route. And it ended at Tilari Dam. This dam is a joint project by Goa and Maharashtra providing water supplies for both states. Hence the name Tilari Project. There was another route which I thought of taking but ended up almost ISOUL gone wrong situation. It was kind of scary to find someone in the middle of nowhere when you least expect it. Continued until Kankavli via Dodamarg and found a stay there. So you are reading this :) good!

True to your spirit of exploring unknown, you visited Tilari in Maharashtra state bordering Karnataka. There were reports of wild elephants coming to Tilari dam and adjoing areas of Dodamarg taluk few years ago.
It was a fantastic ride but the man in the middle of nowhere spiced it up. I literally got chills down my spine,wonder how you'd have felt. Kudos though,cheers..

When I was in college me and my frnds use to take tilari route to Goa in heavy rain and almost zero visibility with no rain gear no gears not even helmet. I know it is stupid but we did have enough knowledge about it.

Did u find out Wat was th problem with top end speed ?? Even I hav th same issue with my 200 ns .. it doesn’t go beyond 90 in 6th gear .. but wen I spoke to service guy he had suggested me to change th diaphram !!!

It last for 300 kms :) and luckily we can find one of other petrol pumps. If not ask the locals n someone will have it in stock
