Bro your camera skills need improvement. We wanted to see the gear lever or see how he operated the vehicle. You focused on your faces too much during that process.
Good content, though there are other questions were worth asking, ie about thermo management of batteries, how 12 v system works with high voltage system, what type of motor has been used, its power rating, cooling mechanism of inverter, is the cars having regenerative braking mechanism, how much power it draws from home circuit to charge the battery....etc
That might be too much information for technology thieves. Yes the heat dispersion of the battery is important, and shock issues when the car is going over rough road, acceleration rate, the top speed and the weight it can pull plus issues with motor
@@samuelsamuel1800a lot of information is available online; democtratising this information can actually help the country right now in the hands of such people who may be able to use it for good. Cooperating as Kenyans can help us reach the same centre stage where the rest of the world is with this technology. I want to be his student. I specifically don't mind. It'd be a great experience at least.
He says it in the video; The parts are from a Nissan Leaf. Essentially everything, including the motors, batteries, inverter, charger are all from a Nissan Leaf. There are lots of Nissan Leaf electric cars in Kenyan scrap yards that can be harvested for DIY electric conversions and this is a great example.😊
If you also actually watch the video closely, you will notice that the van pulls 236v at 17A when it is charging. That is about 4KW, so essentially it might take about 8hours to charge the car from empty to full.
Adding flexible solar panels on the car would be great
