I’ve been “trying” to research traveling ph for 6 months for my trip December. It was real easy to plan my trip to thailand last year but I can’t find any good videos on the Ph for single guys. I’d say your video is the most informative so far

Thanks I was actually trying to answer this exact question yesterday as I was looking for a condo in either of these two and I wasn't sure which. I usually don't stay in Manila that long and had my favourite hotel in Paranaque. But this time I'm staying longer.

You mentioned about beggars/poverty here, i think (and this is just based on my observation), here in PH, wealth is more unevenly distributed compared to Thailand. Coz here, here you have the ultra rich, but you also have the ultra poor. And those in between are much fewer than the poor. I'm not an expert on economy, but although Thailand's GDP is bigger than ours, their external debt is also twice as much as yours. So maybe we are just about as rich, if not richer than Thailand. But again, it seems that in Thailand, wealth is more evenly distributed. Hence, you see much less poverty there than here.
About transportation, we have LRT, buses and jeepneys which are cheap. But you have to know their routes so you know which ones to take to get to your destination. There's also Pasig River Ferry and EDSA Carousel bus which are free. Hope we see you again someday here in PH. There's still tons of places to explore here. ᵔᴗᵔ

Didnt have a strict budget .... but the taxi's add up and if you stay in hotels at £20+ a night plus drinking it adds up quick , id rather come home early and not have a tight budget everyday i spent different amounts ....
