I used to listen to Art Bell while carving leather art. I remember listening to this live. The show was off the air for a few minutes.
I used to work late and have a 50 mile drive home. I'd listen to C2C every night. I remember this, too.
That sounds really peaceful. I was just a kid listening to him. Would be great as an adult to work with your hands to the sound of Coast to Coast

Interesting call, interesting enough for Tool to use it on Lateralus, last track #13 Faaip De Oaid. They added some creepy sounds and static, but used the original recording of the phone call. I never knew,until now, where it had came from. I just googled it and supposedly in April 1998 a man calling himself Brian, called into C2C. He claimed to be the original caller from 1997 and said it was a ruse, just having a little fun. But the audience felt that “Brian” didn’t sound anything like the original caller.So who knows. But, the air of mystique is always captivating!

You can’t do just this one call. This guy called in a couple more times first to claim it was faked, then again to say “they” told him to say it was fake and he also goes into much more detail about what these aliens were and what they want. It gets even more crazy.
I use to think that about alex jones until i actually researched his work. The sandy hook thing was one of the few times he was wrong an he apologized for it numerous times. But he was amazingly accurate most of his career. He actually predicted 9-11 before it happened.! So u may wanna do your homework before bashing him again😊

The fact you said that area 51 is in the same spot where the Roswell incident happened, when in fact Area 51 is in Nevada and Roswell is in New Mexico makes me dismiss your opinions entirely. You have the world on your phone and you can't even look up something before you say it as fact.
Y’all should check out the video where Art Bell talks about the sounds from Hell. Just like this one, take it with a grain of salt but I will say that the sound, to me, is haunting and I’ll never forget it.

It would have been perfect for that call to end with two unrealistic movie-style silencer sounds then the line to go dead... I'm sure he had his fair share of cranks call in, and he probably played into it.. obviously what the caller said would happen hasn't in the last 27 years.

Having said that, this call is pure nonsense
interestingly this episode I have never heard of.. Eventho recently I have started listening to Art Bell's radio show.. Whats more interesting is how its hard to find some credible ufo or even alien videos (eventho they are there) but youtube and google seem to ''hide'' it... Also interesting how some of these ufo researchers just drop dead all of a sudden here and there.
Art Bell's death was sus to me as he would always say he doesn't drink in his radio show

Also John E Mack who has done a lot of research into abductions and people who had these experiences got killed in a hit and run (I have heard a few more John Mack's have died on the same day... not sure if that is true tho)

Didn't this episode air in the late 90's? I did a quick google search and that's what I found. It's really interesting because this guy mentioned the aliens being interdimensional and not extraterrestrial. That's an idea I personally didn't start to hear until like, the last 5 or so years? That kind of lends some credence to what the guy was saying, to me at least. I am very skeptical that extraterrestrial intelligent life would even be capable of traveling to Earth. Granted nobody knows jack shit about interdimensional travel, but we do know that based on our current understanding of physics that FTL travel is not possible. I've done high doses of psychedelics and as crazy as it sounds to people who haven't experienced this, it really does seem like you're connecting to something incomprehensibly alien during for example a 5-10 gram mushroom trip. Maybe this Art Bell guy was full of it, but I would not at all be shocked if what he was saying was true. A close friend of mine smoked some Salvia a few years ago, and he's got this story about meeting two beings during his trip that were observing a scroll composed of all time, from beginning to end, he says they turned to look at him and said " You're not supposed to be here " and then he was catapulted back into his body. He hasn't messed with salvia ever since. I believe there is more to this world than we know, beyond the three dimensions we exist in.
