Thanks so much ... I don't upload videos enough anymore, to make the CZcams algorithm happy, now that I am back to working as a Full Time Web Developer Manager
@@11GalleryATV proud of you with the Web development management career. You could go pretty far in Information Technology. So much better than working on off highway vehicles (not flipping restored vehicles for money/living). Maybee someday, you won't have to fix and sell ATVs anymore.😊
@@nathenzuber4021 I only was doing the ATV stuff because of the pandemic ... I am now back to my regular career of 20+ years as a web/app developer ...
Getting ready to rip into my ‘05, and do a bottom-up rebuild. Definitely going to come in handy to have access to the documented hell you went through. Thanks, and congrats!
I've super enjoyed your builds over the last few years. Having rebuilt a few gems myself, I'm always blown away at the cost to rebuild one of these. You can really nickel and dime yourself, but man this bike sure looks sweet, and sounds amazing. Great Job and hope to see more builds in the future. We need to get your channel numbers to where you can live off the CZcams monies. Similar to 2Vintage has. Anyway, excellent work!!
Thank you ... I don't think CZcams will ever pay the money I make as the Manager of Web Development, my long time career ... this channel basically started when I lost my job due to the stupid covid fiasco ...
I may have a project in line but the temperature here in Phoenix must drop before I get started ... planning on swapping the bottom ends on a gen1 400ex to gen2 with reverse and everything else that's needed (cdi, cable, brackets, ignition, etc.) to put reverse on a gen 1 bug eye 400ex
Finally got her done! Neverending tweaking on yfz carbs. Ive got gas leaks off my carb also replaced everything in float and needle area maybe its accelerator pump. Anyways good job!!
Would be cool if you could sell that house or fill in the pool to make more driving room, and get something on a piece of land (5 acers or more) along with a fully equipped ATV shop. your skills and videos are totally awesome.

I really don't have too much desire for that kind of power delivery at this age ... I really like the lazy power of the 4 stroke ... I think the 400ex is the sweet spot ... even the YFZ450 makes my muscles sore ...
@@11GalleryATV well, a bone stock TRX250R, like something that was restored to complete bone stock OEM condition only has slightly more power than a 400EX. The TRX250R has 34 hp and the 400Ex has 28. That YFZ pushed 40, maybe a little more. With that exhaust in there even a little more than that because the YFZ is super choked up on stock form. Of course that is going to make your muscles sore. The LT250R makes a little less than the TRX250R as well, but I still understand because a 2-stroke’s power does punch when it comes on. I just like your videos because you go slow, are very clear at explaining, and you make sure it’s easy to understand.
