it was not the remenance of a hurricane as it still had the eye and if a hurricane still has it's eye and is at 74 over on terms of wind speeds then that is classed as a hurricane still. if it recorded up to a 100 on wind speed in parts of ireland then that comes under as a catagory 2 hurricane.
No it developed fronts and as soon as that happens it's a extra tropical storm bc that means the the core of the storm is infiltrated with cold air
