Generally speaking, HS42 is better than HS40. HS42 has a wider range of adaptable functions and is more suitable for complex outdoor work. HS40 is relatively simple, but it has an advantage in price. I suggest you choose the product based on your time needs.
ooooooooh my that was wonderful. About to grab one. Did yours come with the headband? It doesn't say specifically on their product page yet. Edit, I'm an idiot and didn't realize this was the sofirn page.
@@sofirnfactory I just thought this was some random person showing off the headband clip, but realized after commenting it was the official sofirn page. I'm pretty stoked to try this thing out. The website isn't letting me checkout though :(
@@sofirnfactory Yeah, I triple checked everything. No worries though, I've already sent off an email. I regularly see how much people love your customer's service, so I'm not too worried. I am slightly worried about getting it in time for a trip. But that's not on you, it's on me for not ordering it ahead of time. Good tip on checking aliexpress. TY!

@@mindrelaxationandsleepingf7610 This is really surprising! Thank you for supporting Sofirn!🥳 This is my guess🤯: because the HS42 uses a 18650 battery, the battery life may not be enough, so there is no power bank function. If it uses a 21700 battery, the battery life is enough, but it is heavier and uncomfortable to wear on the head. So the 18650 version was finally adopted. (Off topic, it is good to have a power bank function. There will always be a time when it is needed. 🤠I personally support this function. I will also feedback this situation to the designer)
@@sofirnfactoryPB function may save life in a forest, for someone to make a call. I use single 18650 in my nitecore powerbank and it gives 70% of charge for Honor 10 phone from zero %. It's quite good and useful, as reserve. Wurkkos 15 also uses 18650 and it has pb function.
HUGE MINUS - no power bank
yep, sometimes I need a power bank, sometimes I don't😄
Regulated ?
You mean that?
@@sofirnfactory is it using a regulated driver?
@@Matt133 What regulated do you mean?😬The driver of HS42 flashlight is independently developed by our engineers

Does it use a constant-current-driver or something else ?.
The HS42 uses a step-down constant current circuit
@@sofirnfactory Thanks a lot, that made it clear.

Does it overweight on one side? Seems not centered...😢
No, when I wear it on my head, I don't feel the center of gravity shifting.
It has a look of wurrkkos style
The two brands, which are related by blood, are influencing each other.
It could be the best one but no powerbank function (
