    I like pamp only because it’s sentimental to me. My grandmother bought me a Fortuna pamp gold bar when I was 5 years old I still have it so will always go for that.

    i live in the US and I like Perth mint stuff the best, they have so many amazing designs, the kookaburra, swan, wedge tailed eagle, and the design of the Perth bars in certicard is amazing

    Thanks for this - purchased a couple of 1 oz bars from Spanish refiner Sempsa. Like you say Gold is Gold so need not let that bother you! ❤

    People it's not difficult. An oz of an element is an oz and doesn't matter who labels it unless it's a rare collectable. Ever heard of spot price?

    Thanks for the info. To me well known brands have a higher premium but you could always sell with a little premium as well. Also some people are more trusting of the bigger brands.

      Well knows brands mean more chance of fakes as well. Buying anything larger then 1oz gold just insist on xrf test.

    What do you think about Argor Heraeus brand? I dont have much options in my country, only Argor Heraeus or Heimerle Meule. I'm only 24 and I looking forward to invest some of my money in to the gold bars. BTW thanks for good content.

    Can you confirm if Baird and Co. of london being the biggest refinery in UK... is a Brand name?

    I have just started my investment into precious metals for the long term goal when I retire. Im 24 now. I so far only order from the Royal Mint (England, UK).

      The Royal Mint produce some fantastic stuff. Great place to start. Don't be frightened of trying some others though. There is some really great products out there from all over the world. Always good to have an interesting stack.

    I doubt that the locally produced bar is cheaper than the international brand name bar if evaluating the actual production cots (not the retail price, which you pay). The Big, International Minters buy and produce in such a volume, that their unit cots of production will be among the lowest in the world. The retail price is higher because of the Marketing and brand recognition, as well as perhaps greater transportation costs. Production Cost and Retail Prices can be related but are very different animals.

      Well - since you asked - it depends on the mood really. If I'm feeling a bit down I have a really nice blue fluffy Prada that just matches my mood but if I'm feeling chipper then I can't resist a nice little red number I've got that just sets my heels off like nothing else 😂😂😂😂

      No - usually it's increased manufacturing costs associated with low number production runs.

      Yes. Look to be honest I tend to be a brand name person when it comes to bullion so there is a little bias but I wouldn't spend huge amounts extra just to get the brand name.

    Great stuff. I watch several youtube videos on how to trade in the stock market but haven't made any headstart because they are either talking some gibberish or sharing their story of how they made it and I do not want to make mistakes by taking risks in my own hands.

      When you don't take a risk you remain in the same spot. You gotta take risk to make it but forget you're scared . Switch your mindset and since you have doubt don't do it until you get rid of doubt because as in life it's going to be a rollercoaster ride up and down ,but keep the vision and don't let one thing happened bad to keep you from moving forward unless you wanna stay scared and the same

      They paid the same for both from memory. The Perth Mints were far easier to sell though.

      Baird & Co is a well recognised London brand name... what they refer to as generic is the locally produced products that Bullion Now stock like XAG and CPG

      Baird are a great brand and no - they wouldn't be considered generic. They don't get a lot of marketing outside the UK.

      ABC in Sydney is the largest private mint in Australia and the only other mint (the other Perth Mint) that is LBMA registered. You'll be ok with them but make sure it's the genuine ABC Sydney.
