- Welcome to our first Blue Ridge travel vlog! We spent the morning riding on the Blue Ridge Scenic Railway! It was my first time on a train and it was a wonderful experience! No motion sickness! After the train ride, we shopped around town and enjoyed some delicious pizza for dinner! Blue Ridge is a fun town to explore!

beautiful video of blue ridge train -we're going nov 13th sun premier. wonder how the weather will be nov 13th ? also where did you park? was there parking along train I see parking areas can you park there 4hrs ? looks like fun.

Yes just to the west side of the tracks there is parking all along the street and I’m not 100% sure all of it is free but I don’t remember seeing signs or parking meters!

Yes the parking spots are literally just over the tracks so maybe 100 feet away at most? I think the website said to be there 15 min before. But I would suggest earlier because there were no assigned seats so if you want more choices where to sit make it there earlier 😊
