I’ve always felt embarrassed when people sing happy birthday and I know it’s silly but I do. As a former restaurant employee, I’m fairly certain you got treated extra special at Olive Garden cause half the place recognized you.
Not really, went there just last night and got the same treatment. My cousin got to choose her own desert, and everybody came out to sing.
Edit: p.s. when you order online, and u put in the special instructions it's for a birthday, they'll even include candles along with the free desert. I did it for my grandma, who doesn't like to leave her home now that she has memory problems and freaks out. So it was nice that we could still have that olive garden tradition in our home.
