Why is he down playing the mistake on the search warrant when all it takes is one mistake to differentiate whether a warrant gets approved or denied. Also evidence not being put back in the evidence locker when officers go off duty seems like gross negligence.

Accountability. The 3 guns is the " only probably cause for the search/raid. The entire case is based of 3 guns and your saying the entirety has pc due to that. That's invalid
Suarez is right tho the pd claiming he had 3 owned guns sounds a lot worse and can sway whomever judge was looking at the raid request. And him saying I'd get the raid approved anyway like it's fact, a judge has to look over the request and decide that not slacks.
I mean it is a fact, but he did make a mistake. Judges told the PD they would approve raids for just one pd gun or one piece of PD gear.

Imagine a cop taking evidence out of the pd and going off duty.. and not being punished for it... that could be a massive screw up if thst officer gets held up or his car or house gets robbed or etc.. he could lose a persons belonging as well as lose evidence to a case....
