- I've seen this Fastback at QruisinPCH/Quarantine Cruise a few times and knew it was only a matter of time before we got to shoot it. Alex from Legado 7 built a 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback inspired by Ken Block's Hoonicorn Mustang and Vicious Mustang and he nailed it with this build. 408 Stroker engine making 600 hp, big wide flares and that perfect stance so sit back and enjoy the ride...

This brings back so many memories. I had a 66 notch top mustang in high school in the late 80’s and in 94 i put a jba 408 stroker in it. It was a absolute beast!!! I did all the Shelby road race suspension mods on it. It had 225/50/15 front and 265/50/15 rear.
God I miss that car!!! This fastback is on a different level with its fully custom interior. What a rad ride!

I wouldn't change a damn thing on that car. Keep it NA. I love the dual air intake. I'm not a fan of flares, but it really works on this car. The engine bay is sweet. The interior has all the features. Really nice car! great review.

@12:39 I thought Shawn was intentionally avoiding the trunk because something was stashed away in the cargo bay. Lol. This interior is like a space ship I'd love to fly in and I love the colors and body flares. Hope Alex can sort out the overheating issues and finish the punch list. Sweet ride.

Only car I've ever been scared in was this little 65" Mustang Coupe. It was setup for drag racing and omg that thing could go in any direction as long as it wasn't straight.

what is the deal with it being certified? Is it so any future buyer would know it's a factory fastback or so you know it was built by professionals?
@@augustusappling139 for a vehicle to get certified it has to go through stringent testing by a certifier to check the safety of the vehicle after any modifications have been done from the factory where the vehicle was first manufactured. Here in New Zealand any modifications that have been carried have to be certified
First off it's a 65 thumbs up there and that color the car looks as though it was dipped in blue paint, I see his hard work as a musician has paid off in the form of a custom Hot Rod or Big Boys Toys.
No smog and an antique tag. That's the perfect fine car for Cali.

That’s an impressive build. Metalwork and interior craftsmanship is top notch! To me the exhaust note needs some tweaking. The sound should match how awesome the car looks.
