I purchased one new in the box back in 1989 and wish I still had it (life got in the way and I had to sell it to pay doctor bills). Mine was a superb shooter and I carried it concealed the whole time I owned it!
For anyone wondering about these, I have a FEG and a KAREEN, oth are finely made and great shooters. I have purchased 2 FN Hi-Powers from Mosin Crate and even though getting in to buy one is NOT AN EASY THING, customer service is outstanding!!! I will be trying again in the morning to get one of these. The P-35/Hi-Power is the LAST weapon designed by the greatest gun designer to ever walk the planet, the GREAT man himself, JOHN MOSES BROWNING!!!!! The pistol was redone in order to get a contract with the French government that after years of altering the design, the French still did not purchase. Unfortunately FN did not go back to Browning's ORIGINAL DESIGN, with a longer beavertail and NO magazine disconnect!!! Along with redisning the safety ( very poorly as to make condition one carry a bit dangerous as opposed to the original safety); still it is at the soul and majority of the weapon a BROWNING DESIGNED MASTERPIECE!!!
JMB is legendary but he cant take full credit for the HiPower. He designed a 9mm striker fired single stack. It was Dieudonne Saive (FAL rifle designer) at FN who made the Hi Power what it is today.
The earlier P9M was a true Hi-Power and parts would interchange with FN's guns. The later P9R was partially Hi-Power but the trigger system was Smith & Wesson-style.
I remember when they were coming into the States, NIB back in the '90s. Sadly, FEG apparently went under due to local politics. They also made a nice DA .45 that I wish I had jumped on.
Just got mine, was wanting either a stainless or battle worn finish, with wood grips. I got the battle worn with well worn wood grips, the checkering is smooth but damn it looks good to me, it also already had the mag disconnect removed. I'm leaving it as is
yep, nice batch-O-Fegs. love mine. shoots and performs like a champ! keep up the great work on milsurps Alden. Stay safe, stay armed, stay free. God bless you and yours.

My 1st handgun was a FEG Hi-Power. Nice, but a bit heavy as a carry gun.
WOW!!!! I bought one well over 30 years ago at a show in Ft Lauderdale, for about 200 bux...still have it...the BEST (IMHO) clone ever...

Came a hair from buying one last week- you know my sweet spot too well.

I’d love one of those Stainless ones.

Wish they could talk ... Just think of the stories they would have !
I was thinking that.
Are any of them hybrids with the S&W 59 lock up inside instead of standard hi power lockup?
Love my HP.
woah, so many.
will yall be getting more anytime soon?
I seen one that had a ribed barrel
What grips are those?
A great pistol.
The new FN is built like a brick. It's not the slim, sleek High Power of before.
Can I as how much do you pay for a lot day of 100?
Hello,
I have FEG 9mm and looking to purchase a magazine.
Anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! Ken
Gimeee, gimeee, gimeee.......
I'm looking to buy the same model hi-power Denzel Washington used in American Gangster
